For 22 years, Light Centre has been a home for London’s therapists and wellbeing practitioners. It all began in 2004 with a single centre in Belgravia. Today we’re proud to welcome practitioners across 5 beautiful centres in Central London, and over those two decades we’ve built something we value even more than the spaces themselves: a trusted community of therapists and wellness professionals who support one another. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a better long-term base for your practice, you’ll find beautiful, fully equipped therapy rooms, flexible booking options and a friendly team behind you. Many of our practitioners have been with us for years, and we’d love for you to join them. 📍 Old Street | Belgravia | Marylebone | Monument | Clapham If you’d like to look around, we’d be delighted to show you.

You may have seen my name in Vogue. But there's more to my story than the people and publications I've been fortunate enough to work with. My journey into skincare began with my own skin, and what started as a personal interest became a career spanning more than 20 years. Much of that time was spent in Cape Town, working alongside leading surgeons and doctors, developing a deeper understanding of skin health and the importance of treating each person as an individual. Along the way, I've had the privilege of preparing skin for the 2026 Met Gala, with my work featured in Vogue, British Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. But regardless of who is sitting in front of me, my philosophy has always remained the same. Your skin is unique. Your facial should be too. I combine advanced laser and light technologies with skilled hands-on techniques, drawing on training across more than 40 technologies to create bespoke, non-injectable treatments shaped entirely around your skin. I'm Libi Roos, an advanced skin and laser facialist in Belgravia, London. My new clinic opens on 1 November at The Lighthouse, 9 Eccleston Street. ADHD and half term don't mix the way most families expect, and if this week has felt harder than a school holiday should, you're not imagining it. If you've searched ‘why is half term so hard with an ADHD child’ or ‘ADHD meltdowns during holidays,’ here's what's actually happening. School provides an external routine that does a significant amount of invisible regulating work for a child with ADHD during term time. When that structure disappears for a week, with no set start time and no predictable transitions, that regulation has to come from somewhere else, and it's almost always the parent filling the gap. There's also a pattern worth naming here: some children hold everything together at school and have nothing left for home. Half term removes the one place they were managing, which can bring harder behaviour into full view exactly when parents expected a break, not an intensified version of term time. What tends to help is keeping small anchors from term time in place, similar wake times, similar meal times, and one predictable activity a day, rather than trying to fill every hour with something new and exciting. Tag a parent who needs to hear that this week isn't just them struggling. #ADHDParent #HalfTerm #ParentingADHD #ADHDUK #ADHDAwarenessMonth by @thelightcentre
