Proof of life cause ya girl be LIVING!! by @theloudcastle

Part 2...Pation!!
The Big Day: okay so it's happening, this is happening, holy shit ITS HAPPENING! The day starts off with both Scott and I having to Lyft both him to school and me to get the rental car (yes he still had school and was getting out at 12pm... The show was at 530 and we had a 4 hour drive) girl I was STRESSING but never let them see you sweat! I picked up some sandwiches so we could have some food either on the way or when we got there cause I wasn't sure what our time line was going to be, I just knew we had to drive to the hotel and get into our outfits with less than an hour to spare, talk about extermination challenge! We eat our sandwiches and get dressed and I sneakily put the ring in its box in my pocket before we leave and out the door to the show we go.

The Moment!!: Finally we're at the event and it's genuinely so much fun, we get to meet all the monsters buy some merch and just enjoy the vibes til it's time for the Vip photo-op. We get in line and I can just feel the ring burning a hole in my pocket I'm so nervous I'm like stumbling over words and I suggest to Scott he should get his own photos with the Boulets and monsters like we did in SF, with a bit of push back he agrees and I'm internally screaming WILL I BE ABLE TO PULL THIS OFF?! So we slowly make our way up the line and finally we're up next I send him off to get his pictures and just then I go and tell the person who was leading the VIP that I'm going to propose she was so excited and I was like hell yeah maybe we'll get a couple of good shots! She then proceeded to whisper to the photographer and without being prompted recorded the entire interaction without me knowing.
It's HAPPENING!!: I take my independent photos with the boulets and spill the beans of what's about to happen and they were so into it. Scott then comes and joins us we get situated and I get on one knee and open the box and show the ring (view photos/video for reaction) I was genuinely SO NERVOUS I FORGOT TO ASK THE QUESTION but I mean the ring said it all and HE SAID YES!!!

Thank you so much to the @bouletbrothers and @obsessedintl for making this ghouls nightmare come true!!!

HE SAID YES!! Okay now that the ending is outta way lemme tell you about how much planning went into this proposal. I'd been working on how I want to do this since last year and it took almost about 4 months of planning to make sure it went exactly how I wanted.

The history: So for those of you who don't know I absolutely love Dragula it's been my favorite show ever since it first aired on YOUTUBE and has held a huge part in my life. I've done every VIP I could do (missed season 5 and Titans because they didn't go to Denver) but a few years back I had the joy of going to the season 4 tour in San Francisco with Scott and it was magical getting to share that moment with him. Hell even our second date was watching the dragula resurrection special cause he hadn't seen it. We've now watched every episode together since then.

The set up: I was on the fence with proposing at first because I mean if you've done it you know how nerve-racking it can be, but with the help of my best friend Taylor talking some sense into me "he's literally the best thing that's happened to you if you don't propose I will, stop being stupid" -Taylor. With that I bought the ring 😂.

The trip: originally the show was going to be in Atlanta about twenty minutes from our apartment, hell yeah! But then! The Atlanta show ended up being cancelled and I was DEVASTATED. All this planning, all this rushing, what was a ghoul to do!? So I looked up the closest show to us and it was in CHARLOTTE NORTH CAROLINA, 4 hours away! Now neither of us had been to Charlotte so I convinced him it would be a fun little adventure to do just like our San Francisco trip and immediately he was on board, alright back on track. So to make sure nothing could go wrong I rented a car and we booked a hotel WE'RE GOING TO DRAGULA! THE PLAN IS IN MOTION HOLY SHIT THIS IS HAPPENING!

This is only part 1 I'm posting part two on a reel with the video... the antici... by @theloudcastle
