RIP Quetzalli
6/7/2018 - 11/24/2024

My heart is broken. On Sunday, I had to say goodbye to my baby girl. Quetzalli was such a special little dog—she had the most calming and grounding energy. She was tender, caring, and so full of charm. Mamas was magnetic; everyone who met her couldn’t help but smile.

She had the biggest ears, the smallest mouth, and the longest body. She was always so happy, wiggling her lil butt with every step she took. She was quiet and never barked—unless it was to protect me. She never caused any trouble (except for when she chewed the plastic straps on my snapbacks). She was such a diva. #veryBrat.

Quetzalli was truly the perfect pup for me—my best friend, and at times, my only friend. Her absence is a deafening echo in my life. Why did she have to leave so soon? Why did everything have to happen so fast? She was so good—so why did her kidneys have to be so bad?

I am eternally grateful that she came into my life, yet I can’t help but wish she could have stayed longer.

Quetzalli, I miss you so, so, so much. I love you to the moon and back. by @theluichavez

It’s the end of an era. Goodbye Apartment 24. You’ve been the stage for laughter, tears, and countless sleepless nights. Here’s to the next chapter 🚚🔑 #MovingOn #ChapterClosed by @theluichavez
