Grateful for time spent with @theindianajim and Matt Adams of @theblanktapes making music in Yucca Valley this past weekend. Thank you to Jim for trusting me with the bass and backing vocals, and a huge thanks to Matt for his production expertise and hospitality. Eight songs in two days. We did that. This album is special. Until next time, #california

In my life I have been alot of great places. The Mojave, the bluegrass, the hills of southern Indiana, the beautiful streets of San Francisco and even the plastic heart of the Broadway of many towns. Nothing takes my breath away the way it does here in the valley. I have been recently reeling with the transition of age in my own life, The seriousness of my commitments and the constant premature loss of beautiful friends. It is the spirit that I will always follow, the same spirit that led me here. This weekend I will be paying my homage to this sacred ground in the only way I know how, with music.

Yours Truly
