Mannn, I had my Drake captions prepared... then I realized, I just want to speak from the heart...

I find myself cowering in my stance instead of standing up straight. For a long time I found it hard to embrace my feminine side. This is my first pair of heels since my friend Kendall’s wedding yearrrssss ago! I am insecure & confident aka I have spurts of insecurities & confidence... if that makes sense.
The mirror is a tricky place; for me, it often reflects how you feel inside despite your outward appearance.
I’ve felt uncomfortable & unsafe around men the majority of my life. With that being said, it feels good to feel good again...it feels good to feel safe again💙💫 by @themicisopenn

I’m not here to be missed... I’m here to be loved and to give love. Kindness wins... each & every time. 💙🙏🏽 by @themicisopenn

For the blessings, the forgiveness, the grace, the love, the understanding… Lord I thank you. by @themicisopenn

I lost my brother, my mind, my sense of purpose… but God never took His hands off of me. Everyday above ground is a great day to get it right. Thank you Lord for your love, your grace, and your forgiveness. Let’s be great today, let’s aim to be the best versions of ourselves everyday. by @themicisopenn
