Tearing it up in Elmont at the @ubsarena tonight and tomorrow. The last two shows of the first stint of this wild tour with Z.B and co before we fly home and blast it. And by blast it I mean sleep. Here’s one of Rohin at the Bowery Ballroom many moons ago. by @themiddleeastmusic

State college, Pennsylvania tonight. Gonna be a real mindbender. Thanks for having us along for the ride ! by @themiddleeastmusic

In 2008 Aaron Curnow invited an awkward misfit bunch of musicians from far North Queensland to the cricketers arms in Surry hills. He bought us beer and gave us smog , Joanna Newsom and machine translations cd’s. For over 15 years he has been a mentor, comrade and most of all a friend. It has been an honour to be a part of the spunk family and while sad to see it end we are forever grateful. Looking forward to coming home to play this last hurrah at the Sydney opera house with the venerable Aldous Harding & explosions in the sky.

A big thank you to aaron & tania, spunk records, vivid Sydney, and Sydney opera house. ✨💫⭐️ by @themiddleeastmusic

Ok we have gram. This is one from opening night of this gnarly tour at the United Center, Chicago. 🌚✨photo: @drawingfromusic by @themiddleeastmusic
