Hi, I’m Griselda 💜✨

Founder of The Money Geenie, a platform built around empowerment, community, mindset, and smart financial strategies that help people create more Freedom, Security & Peace in their lives.

As a Puerto Rican, Dominican, Honduran, a woman, mother, entrepreneur, and someone who’s always been a student of life, I’m passionate about helping our communities think bigger, move smarter, and believe deeper in what’s possible for themselves.

Because honestly… a lot of us were never taught how to truly build wealth, protect our future, or create peace around money and life. And I believe that changes through education, discipline, consistency, environment, and the genuine desire for a better life.

I truly believe that when discipline and the want for a better future go hand in hand, the best version of you awaits ✨

That’s why I created this space.

Not just to talk about money…
but to pour into people mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially.

Through workshops, mentorship, strategy sessions, and community conversations, my goal is to help people feel empowered, confident, and more aligned with the future they want to create for themselves and their families. And of course I proudly serve both English & Spanish speaking communities, so if you’d like to connect or book a 1:1 session with me, my Calendly link is in my bio ✨

We’re growing together and achieving freedom, security & peace. 💜 by @themoneygeenie

✨ This is exactly what I chose to do for myself and it changed everything. I stopped waiting to see what was left and started paying myself first. 💜

Listen, prioritize YOU. You owe YOU. Your future, your peace of mind, your freedom, it starts with putting yourself at the top of the list, not the bottom.

I’m here to educate, to guide, and to remind you that it’s possible for you too. Let’s build the habits that secure our futures together.

My mentor sent me this quote this morning and whew, did it hit deep.

“Your faith can move mountains, and your doubt can create them.”

It’s a reminder that the way we think can either propel us forward, or hold us back.
Faith fuels action. Doubt builds invisible walls. Even the smallest decisions feel heavier when we second guess ourselves.

Today, I’m choosing to believe in myself, my purpose, and what’s possible. 💜
Let’s move our mountains, with faith.

How are you choosing to show up today?

Married to the mission… and now I have the ring to prove it. 💍😂

Being a mother was never going to dim my fire. If anything, it lit it UP. 🔥 My girls give me even more reason to keep growing, keep showing up, and keep building a life filled with purpose.

This ring represents so much more than an accomplishment. It represents the commitment, the growth, and the people we get to help along the way. Helping people is at the root of everything we do.

I’m so proud of my team, everything they’ve accomplished, and everything we’re working toward together even with my newborn on my hip! So much more is coming our way, and we’re just getting started. 💜 by @themoneygeenie

I always loved money. But I wanted to understand why I was working so hard and still felt like getting ahead was out of reach.

As Latinas and Latinos, we are some of the hardest-working people out here. We deserve to have something to show for that works beyond having the bills paid and another shift completed.

We deserve to retire with confidence. To understand our options. To protect ourselves while we’re here and provide for our loved ones when we’re gone. To learn how to grow our money and protect what we’ve worked so hard to earn.

Growing up, we heard a lot about working hard. But building wealth? Protecting our income? Understanding risk and fees? Those conversations weren’t always happening around us, especially in our language.

So I started getting in the room. Asking questions. Getting educated. Becoming licensed in many states, and then bringing what I learned back to my community. En inglés y en español.

Because every hard-earned dollar matters. We deserve to understand where our money goes, what we’re paying, and what we’re getting in return. Am I right?

No one can promise that an investment will never lose value. But we can absolutely learn how risk, protection, and costs work before making a decision.

Peace of mind starts with understanding our options, including when professional help may be worth the cost.

Financial freedom is about more than just a credit repair or paying someone else to handle everything. We deserve the knowledge to ask better questions, understand our choices, and make informed decisions con confianza.

Education is power. And these conversations belong in our homes, among our friends, and our community.

Financial education does not erase the wage gap. We deserve fair pay AND access to the tools and opportunities that help us build freedom, security, and peace.

So I’ll keep learning, speaking up, and sharing what I know.

Calladita? No more 💜 as Hady Méndez would say.

Save this post, share it with someone who needs it, and let’s keep talking about money in our community. If you’re ready to understand your options, escríbeme.

Today, we’re proud to highlight @griseldadq_ 🌱💜

She is the founder and executive director of @somoselcambiopr , whose work reflects the power of community, culture, and connection across Puerto Rico and the diaspora.

Guarda este mensaje para cuando necesites recordarlo. Y si quieres comenzar a entender mejor tus finanzas, escríbeme “EMPEZAR”. Lo hablamos, sin pena y sin juicio.

We want money. But we also want to know what to DO with it. 💜

Because earning it is one thing. Understanding credit, protecting what you’re building, making a plan, and passing that knowledge down? That’s how we start changing the story.

A lot of us weren’t taught this growing up. I’m not judging where anyone is starting ever, I want us to be willing to learn, ask questions, and have the money conversations our families didn’t always get to have.

It takes one person to start. So why not you?

Save this reminder, send it to someone you’re growing with, and DM me “START” if you’re ready to talk about your first step.

Being interviewed as a Latina entrepreneur, a mother, and a community builder just hits different. 💜

Moments like this remind me that every late night, every sacrifice, every weekend spent working instead of resting, and every time I pushed through doubt for the sake of my daughters and the future I’m building has been worth it.

Thank you to @canvasrebel for giving me the opportunity once again to share my journey, my mission, and the heart behind everything I do.

To every mother, entrepreneur, and dreamer reading this: if I can create a path for myself, so can you. There is no dream in your heart that is too big, too far away, or impossible to achieve. Keep going. Keep believing. Keep showing up for yourself, even on the hard days.

Let me be a reminder that your story matters, your vision matters, and your dreams are possible.
