Intraperlo “Los Cerdos Ya Vuelan”
Valencian outfit Intraperlo are back with three new tracks, a healthy dose of irreverence and a sound that gets straight to the point. Their latest EP, Los Cerdos Ya Vuelan, might be their most stripped-back release yet, but there’s absolutely nothing restrained about the attitude.

SOiL - Enemy X

SOiL are back on the attack, and there’s plenty of unfinished business left in the tank. The American hard rock heavyweights have signed a new global deal with Better Noise Music, marking the beginning of another chapter in a career that has already delivered almost three decades of hard-hitting riffs, road miles and rock radio anthems.

La Fumiga - Roig Arena
There are good ways to say goodbye, and then there’s La Fúmiga. On Friday night, the Alzira outfit turned Roig Arena into one enormous celebration of Valencian music, identity and togetherness, delivering a spectacular two-hour-plus performance in front of 18,000 fans. And with just one show left before they call time on their career, the emotion was never far from the surface.

Els Concerts De La Pèrgola
Anabel Lee & Karavana

The weather might have been threatening to spoil the party, but nobody seemed remotely interested in taking notice. Sold out, packed with music fans and buzzing from the first note, La Pèrgola delivered a brilliant reminder of just why these Saturday lunchtime sessions have become such an important part of Valencia’s live music scene.

There’s a particular pleasure in hearing a song you’ve known for years get dragged into unfamiliar territory, have its hair shaved into a Mohican and come screaming back at you twice as fast. That’s the glorious business of Spike and the Gimme Gimmes, who bring their Take The Fall Tour to Rock City on Thursday 19 November, with Valencia in for a night of punk-rock irreverence, familiar hooks and gloriously questionable musical decisions.

Some musicians build careers. Others become part of the soundtrack to an entire generation. Enrique Villarreal, better known as El Drogas, firmly belongs in the latter category, and on Saturday 14 November, he brings decades of Spanish rock history to Sala Repvblicca in Mislata.

Hot Freaks - “Soft Body”
The Minneapolis indie-pop collective are back with Soft Body, an 11-track album that feels like a band rediscovering the joy of simply making music together. And judging by the results, they’re onto something rather good.

Tangible
Forget polished clichés and safe, predictable rock. Marseille four-piece TANGIBLE deal in sharp guitars, bruising riffs and French lyrics with something to say. Built around the long-standing friendship between vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ludovic and guitarist Mathieu, alongside bassist Laurent and drummer Sébastian, the band have carved out a sound that moves between raw rock aggression and more atmospheric, melancholic territory. Punk energy sits alongside moments of restraint, with the music serving the words rather than the other way around.
