Thankful for year four at National FFA Convention on staff! Late nights, early mornings, thousands of steps and hundreds of interactions…there is no better place to be in October!

Special congratulations to Jason and Briar for earning their American Degree…probably my last two! 🥹 I was excited to see Lance in the National FFA Band again this year. And super hyped to see Brittany and Kay on the national stage representing the NC FFA Alumni Council!! Even more stoked to watch Jazmin Palma get selected as the National FFA Southern Region VP!

Shout out to my small team, the XL team and the ambassadors who helped in the Educator Resources Booth. Counting down the days to next year - bring on the 100th!!! 💙💛🤩

‼️ Today is the last day to score your EXCLUSIVE advisor t-shirt in the Educator Resources Booth at the expo!!! by @theneadyowl

Julie Smiley (Foster) was selected as the first female National FFA Officer in 1976 as the Western Region Vice President. She is from the state of Washington where she competed in public speaking and served as their first female state president. She’s still involved in agriculture through her family farm, but professionally became very involved in the science education world and the HOSA organization. Julie opened doors for young women in agriculture and FFA that have led to so many opportunities!! Be sure to see her iconic National FFA officer jacket on display in the FFA Experience Booth at the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo this week! ✨💙💛 @nationalffa #ffaexperiencebooth #nationalffaconvention #ffahistory by @theneadyowl

Year 3️⃣ of National FFA Convention is in the books! It was a long, exhausting week with over 70,000 members and guests present and over 100,000 steps taken. But I wouldn’t trade the time with the best team and volunteers for anything else. Shout out to my teammates and collegiate volunteers for helping make a huge impact on student from across America!! 💙💛 #nationalffaconvention #ffaforall @nationalffa by @theneadyowl

This year in the FFA Experience Booth during the 98th National FFA Convention, we showcased quotes from a video filmed by the 2024-25 National Officers. This video states their commitment to the National FFA Statement of Belonging and their promise to create an engaging, supportive, growth-focused and welcoming organization. FFA members were able to join this commitment and promise by signing their name on a sticker and placing it near an officer. THANK YOU to all who participated in this new area of the booth!! 💙💛 Watch the video here: https://www.ffa.org/ffa-for-all/ @nationalffa #nationalffaconvention #FFAforALL #ffaexperiencebooth by @theneadyowl

Hailey - it’s been an honor to be your ag teacher, advisor and friend! I’m so proud of you! Earning your American FFA Degree is icing on top of an incredible FFA experience. If you haven’t made it to the FFA Experience Booth in the expo, it should be a priority today! This year we have beautifully curated FFA Sweetheart and New Farmers of America jackets on display. The history and uniqueness is incredible, and there are very cool artifacts on display in the base of the cases. We are so happy to also celebrate the 90th anniversary of the NFA with these displays! 💙💛 @nationalffa #nationalffaconvention #ffaexperiencebooth by @theneadyowl

In 1949, the FFA Supply Store began selling white and blue rayon sweetheart jackets. They switched to corduroy in 1961, so these rayon FFA sweetheart jackets are very rare. See this beauty and read her story at the FFA Experience Booth during the 98th National FFA Convention this year! 💙✨ @nationalffa #ffaexperiencebooth #nationalffacovention #ffahistory by @theneadyowl
