THE NEST was always meant to make room for both — the quiet of a weekend and the fullness of having everyone together. @crafted_spaces understood that balance beautifully, shaping a home that feels expansive when it needs to, and intimate where it matters. Lovely to see THE NEST find a place in @archdigestindia . Thank you for the feature, and to Crafted Spaces for giving this home its form. 🤍 @peacelilyindia brought the outdoors into the story beautifully, creating a landscape that feels like a natural extension of THE NEST. by @thenest.one
#Repost @archdigestindia with @use.repost ・・・ Designing a weekend home that must also host large gatherings asks for a peculiar kind of restraint. It has to be ready for celebration without looking as though it is permanently waiting for the next event. On a 52,000-square-foot property in Janwada, Hyderabad, Mitali Aharam, principal designer at Crafted Spaces (@crafted_spaces), had to give the clients two things at once: lawns and open spaces for family, friends, and guests, and a 5,500-square-foot residence where weekends could return to a slower rhythm. “The home had to be a sanctuary, but one that could open itself to friends, family, and guests with ease,” Aharam says. The interest lies in how often the large gesture is brought back to something more immediate: a floor pattern, a bench at the foot of a staircase, a window angled for privacy. That balance begins outside. The landscape had to do more than frame this weekend home in Hyderabad. The lawns were planned for gatherings, but the site also offers smaller moments of pause. At the entrance, a raised boundary wall keeps the car drop-off private, while a natural boulder interrupts the curve of the wall. A mature tree became the anchor for an amphitheatre, with laterite stone steps and a curved retaining wall creating a place for conversations, performances, and gatherings that do not need the scale of the lawns. Bay windows frame pockets of greenery from within, and every bathroom opens to an outdoor shower, bringing the garden into daily use. A little more from Chervitha’s Baby Shower. This time, stepping back to take in how it all came together, florals flowing through the space, layers of foliage and jasmine, vintage finds, woven textures and all the thoughtful elements that made the indoors feel complete. Every corner was designed to feel like a part of the same story, while still having a character of its own. More from this beautiful day, because there’s still so much left to show. ✨ Parents-to-be: Chervitha + Ananth Hyderabad, 2026 Venue: @thenest.one Photography: @thechithrakatha #alankarabysupriya #babyshower #sreemantham #luxuryeventdesign #luxuryweddingdecor by @thenest.one
