Last night, I invaded Atlanta once again for quite possibly the most brutal and one of my favorite shows of the year! I’ve been meaning to see Dying Fetus for years but have always had other things at the time complicate those attempts, so to say this was a long time coming is an understatement. None of the bands held anything back and I went nuts in the pit for much of the show, I’m shocked at how much energy I had by the end of it. This’ll be a show for the books for a long time to come, I know it!

Flew up north to see a hell of a lineup at a venue that’s very special to my heart, unfortunately not a lot of videos on this one cause of a mishap with my old phone. Regardless, I think the slew of other reels on here gives you more than a glimpse of how awesome this show was. Big highlight of 2026!

Bit late with this one, but last week I ventured to Greenville for the first time to see All Shall Perish perform their deathcore classic The Price of Existence in full with some fellow bands holding it down for their respective scenes. I appreciate bands like Mauled for taking the reins on the roots of what I love about early deathcore, and the lineup for this tour was nothing short of stellar. The crowd killed it, too!

I went to Florida once again for 156/Silence’s headlining tour for their new record, was probably the most sweaty I’ve ever been by the time I got out but I had such a great time. From a Distance is one of my favorite albums of the year, and hearing a good mix of old and new tracks was a real treat!

Went out of town on a work night, but well worth it to finally see USBM legends Profanatica live for the first time. Other bands were really cool and the venue was chill, not a bad way to kick off concert season for me once again!

Somewhat late to the party, but this morning I commemorated 25 years of a sludge masterpiece, Sonic Excess in Its Purest Form by @crowbarmusic.
I’ve listened to this band for many years and seeing their music reach so many people in recent times has been no doubt surprising to me, but a pleasant one. This record and many others have gotten me through my darkest days, and the older I get the harder it hits. Saw them in Atlanta early this year with Acid Bath and I’m seeing them again with Dying Fetus later this year, and I’m happy that this band and album are a part of my life and so many others’ as well!

Remember on National Girlfriend Day that waifus are eternal, bunny suits are a bonus! 193lbs and counting shredding fat and trying to gain muscle, potential bulk incoming?

Last night I invaded Charlotte once again for one of the most brutal tours of the year, and not to mention one of my most highly anticipated. All of the bands sounded sick and the pit didn’t let up for so much as a second. Screaming all the lyrics and chants with everyone was such a surreal experience and what I’ve needed after a rough couple of weeks. Sadly, this will be my last concert for a bit as my books for July are empty, but from August on it’s gonna be full steam ahead for some amazing shows, and I can’t wait!

The struggles of being a physical media collector in 2026.

Got to see a bucket list band close to home in Savannah and teenage me is still in disbelief it took so long for it to happen. Savannah’s always a treat for smaller shows like this, and having these guys do this is something I wouldn’t have traded for the world.

Little bit of a late post, but a few nights ago I went to Florida for the first time to see Wage War (3rd time overall, 1st time in 7 years!), Nevertel, & Orthodox. Everybody sounded great, honestly this is the best Wage War has sounded live by far, hard to believe this is the same band I saw play Warped Tour in 2018. Orthodox was great and Nevertel was a neat surprise, had a great time and would go to this venue again!

2nd show in a row in two days, headed up to Myrtle Beach for the Lorna Shore tour! House of Blues is always a pleasure to go see shows at and this was no different. Seeing Paleface for the first time in particular was a blast, the pit was fun!
