A little glimpse into just a few of the 15 courses from an incredible evening at Ve Oh Lay Acres with two very special friends, Maddi and Laurent. ✨🍷🍽️

Creating tasting menus like this is always a labour of love. Every course is carefully thought out, every detail intentional, and every plate designed to build on the one before it.

There's something magical about gathering around a table, sharing great food, great wine, and even better company. These are the experiences that remind me why I love what I do. ❤️

Thank you, Maddi and Laurent, for trusting me to create this experience for you and for always being such wonderful hosts. 🙏

Just a few courses shown here... 12 more delicious moments never made it to the camera. 😉✨

You hired the people who “do this for a living.” And yet somehow you walked away feeling like the problem was you.

You’re not alone.

Maddi owns @veohlayacres a BC winery and for years she paid agencies to bring in online sales.

By the end she’d handed over $10,000 to four different companies, without a single sale.

Now let me be clear about something, because I sit on the other side of this too. There are brilliant ads managers out there. I am one. I’ve trained a lot of them. I know plenty more across this industry who are worth every dollar. And the truth is that nothing in ads is guaranteed. Sometimes a campaign underperforms and it genuinely isn’t the manager’s fault.

So this was never about agencies being the villain.

It was about Maddi having no way to tell the difference.

When you don’t understand ads yourself, you can’t tell a great manager from a bad fit, or a slow month from a setup that was never going to work.

You just hand over the money and hope.

And every time it flopped, the reason pointed back at her. Maybe your labels. Or your website. Or maybe the product just isn’t landing. So she started to believe it.

But her product was never the problem.
If people buy from you in person and your online sales sit flat, yours probably isn’t either.

Once she understood ads herself, her online sales exploded.

Once she had her ads set up, sales came within a week. At just $10 a day in ad spend, she now typically lands at least one sale daily, with orders between $115 and $227 on average.

On Black Friday, one ad she built herself made $6,400, her biggest weekend ever.

Old retailers even messaged that they’d seen the ads and a new restaurant reached out wanting to carry her wine.

And even if she hires help again someday, she’ll know exactly what she’s paying for.

She can spot a great manager, ask the right questions, and call it early if something’s off.

You don’t have a product problem. You have a knowledge gap, and that it’s one you can close.

Fall cohort of Meta Ads Academy opens for registration soon and the waitlist gets first access and it tends to fill from there alone.
