No — we don’t recommend this.
And no — it’s not for everyone.

But the strength, discipline, and willpower it takes to still move her body, still ski, and still share the mountain with our daughter at this stage is something I’m incredibly proud of.

This is what showing up looks like for her.

If you believe strength looks different on everyone, follow along!

We didn’t grow into travel parents — we jumped straight in.
Four months old, zero routine, way more gear than we ever imagined.

Was it hard? Absolutely.
Was it uncomfortable? Yup.
Did it change everything for the better? Without question.

You don’t wait for travel to get easier —
you travel, and you get better at it.

If you’re on the fence… this is your sign ✈️🤍

Life moves fast. Soak up the moments, make the memories, and enjoy every season along the way #thenotafamily #greenacrescabins #vermont #lakewilloughby #family by @thenotafamily

And just like that… another season at Green Acres Cabins has come to an end. 🍁❤️

As we close up the cabins for the 2026 season, we can’t help but feel incredibly grateful.

To every guest who stayed with us, every familiar face who returned, and every new family who made Green Acres part of their memories this year — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This property has been part of the same family for over 30 years, and being able to share this little piece of Lake Willoughby with so many wonderful people means more to us than words can express.

It’s never been just about renting cabins. It’s about the memories made, the traditions started, the families brought together, and the people who return year after year.

Your continued love and support allow us to keep this special place going, and for that, we are truly thankful.

🍂 While our seasonal cabins are officially closed until 2027, the Lake House and Lake House Suite remain open year-round and are always available for reservations! Whether you’re planning a cozy winter getaway, a snowy Vermont adventure, or your next summer vacation, we’d love to welcome you.

From our family to yours, thank you for another incredible season. We can’t wait to see you again!

Until next season, with love from Green Acres Cabins. 🏡🍂❤️
