Spartan Trifecta World Championships Final Beast! A chase start, based on times for the Sprint and Super races combined, starting from 10th position… 24 km +700 m 🌧️ Including obstacles old and new: ancient river runs, Spartan Ridge, carrying logs, heavy marble blocks, Atlas stones, sandbags, chains, armer, plate drag, Herc hoist, buckets. Nailed the laser shooting, spear throw, Olympus, Twister, Athena’s Traverse, rig, rope climb, Bender, Z-walls, upgraded hanging walls, Slackline, hurdles, high walls, goats, longest barbed wire crawl, and various cargo nets. Toughest parts were the terrain, growling doggo, steep slippery balance beam and not getting taken out by a thousand olives. Stoked to have completed 44 km, 900+ m and many obstacles in my first visit to @spartan spiritual home - Sparta - and to finish 10th in the world in 4:51:28! Thanks so much for all the photos @imagesbyjack ! 📷 @theocrreport #OCR #SpartanRace #SpartanTrifecta #Aroo #IAmASpartan by @theocrreport
SPARTAN Trifecta World Champs – 6th place 🔴 Sprint, 7.5 km – The first race of the weekend. It was only 7th place, but just 70 seconds off the top 3, and I achieved what I set out to do going in: not mess it up and stay near the front. Everything is still open for the coming days. 🔵 Super, 12.5 km – On the first descent before the creek I rolled my ankle. It took me a few seconds to shake it off, so I slowed down and ran more carefully through the creek, and that cost me all contact with the group in 5th–7th place where I wanted to be. I managed to work my way back up to 7th. I got to the spear throw and nobody was on burpees, so I had to hit mine too. I missed, did 30 penalty burpees, lost more time, and finished 10th with a big gap to the top 5. I’m disappointed after today and it hurts how it turned out… Going into the final day, the gap to the top 5 is 3.5 minutes, and to 6th place 1 min 40 sec. 🟢 Beast, 23.5 km – I started from 7th, with the guys behind me in 8th and 9th about 30 and 45 seconds back. The goal was clear: try to close as much as possible on the guys ahead of me. That worked, and I moved up to 6th within 30–35 minutes. At the top of the climb I fell off the balance obstacle, went to the penalty loop, and Loris caught up to me. Then came the carries and a running section where I got back to 6th, but I could see the guys in the top 5 were going great and I couldn’t see anyone ahead of me anymore. At the spear throws before the finish, everyone in the top 10 hit theirs, so I finished in 6th place overall. I came here with a bigger goal. But that’s what sport is about, and it makes me appreciate last year’s 3rd place at these World Championships even more. Last year it narrowly worked out for me ahead of @logan.broadbent 🇺🇸, and this year I’m happy that it was Logan, who took 3rd place this time 😀💪. Congratulations to the guys ahead of me on great performances 🔥. Now back to work, and we keep grinding 🤞. Thank you all for the support throughout the weekend. MS Trifecta World Championship je dobojované. Výsledok? 9. miesto celkovo na svete v kategórii Elite. Moja tretia sparťanská „deviatka“ do zbierky (2019, 2024, 2026). ▪️ Sprint: P8 v cieli, skvelý rozbeh a dobrý pocit v nohách. ▪️ Super: Divoká jazda, bežecky to šlo fajn – vysypané vedro o strom, trestné kolo s reťazou kvôli chybnému úchopu a roztrhnutá šnúrka v potoku doviazaná na divoko v behu. Ďakujem všetkým, ktorí držali palce a podporovali ma. Znamená to pre mňa veľa! 🇸🇰💪 @spartanraceeurope @spartanracegreece . . #SpartanTrifectaWorldChampionship #Sparta #SpartanRace #TrifectaWC #Top10 EliteAthlete SpartanSlovakia OCR SpartanBeast NeverGiveUp by @theocrreport
