Parker is a 30 y/o soccer fanatic from the Pasadena area who loves @westham and the Premier League! When he's not playing soccer on Sundays, he's exploring LA on his bike with his wife or hanging out with fellow fans at sports bars & breweries. Sports is all the rage for Parker and you can meet him at our weekly Bridge The Gap games!

Going to see the Tour in person has been high on my list ever since my dad got me into the sport as a kid. 3 weeks later I still can’t put into words how magical it all was. For those that don’t watch the Tour the only way I can describe it is imagine the Super Bowl was competed on small roads up the side of mountains over 21 days. (Oh, and the tour has 30 times more spectators globally)

Stage 17: Bollène to Valence
Stage 18: Vif to Courchevel(Col de la Loze)

It’s been a whole week since we watched the final Champs-Élysées stage of the Tour de France. Here’s a recap of that day!

•Arrived on site 4 hours before the tour came through
•Found a neat little restaurant to pass the time
•Ate a ton of pastel de natas (a nod to last year’s Portugal trip!) and ate some Toblerone
•Watched the riders go by 6 times!
•Wout won the final stage, but most importantly Pogi won the overall!
•Cheered our hearts out for Team Visma after the stage finish
•My mother-in-law received podium flowers from the day’s domestique hero, Matteo Jorgenson!
•Ended the night at the Eiffel Tower by @btgpasadena

Alyssa and I spent a dreamy 4 days at a Chateau in the French Alps celebrating our 30th birthdays this year. My only regret is we couldn’t spend more time there with even more friends and family! With my beloved @thomasvanoudenaarden and daughter Charlotte, celebrating a special Christmas with my host family from 18 years ago.
