A time was had for H’s Bridal shower. My favorite part? Her family and friends rallying around her to celebrate her and the journey she is going through. Loved the thoughtful details, the surprise guest, the laughter and tears. And the decor 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

⁣THIS IS THIRTY-FIVE ...⠀
⠀
Grateful for family. Grateful for parents who can finally work part time and retire. Grateful for kisses from perfect bowlegged nephews...grateful for perfect gapped toothed God kids. Grateful for a job I love...grateful to live in a city I love. Grateful for real friends to talk pelotons, and 401(k)s, and egg freezing. Grateful for my training, and vaccines and PPE. Grateful for a God who answers prayers and mends sibling relationships and upholds his promises. Grateful for lifetime mentors, and prioritizing self-care. Grateful for babies, lots of babies, because everyone I know seems to be having one.⠀
⠀
But most of all, I am grateful that I wake up every morning and can breathe air into my lungs without the help of a machine. I’m grateful that I turned 35 in the midst of a pandemic, seeing covid patients everyday, and can live to tell my kids that story. ⠀
⠀
O yes... and I’m grateful for the sun... cause Lord knows it hits differently here in Mexico 🤟🏿 by @thepeoples_doc

Just what the doctor ordered !!😊

Do yourself a favor and cozy up this weekend with your favorite little one to watch this amazing portrayal of hope, creativity, love and Black excellence! All the amazing Christmas feels wrapped up in one smart and beautifully crafted Christmas musical!

This movie really had me reminiscing about the “good old days“ when Christmas season felt so magical. It’s so beautifully done and just what we need to turn the corner this 2020 Holiday Season. 🎄🎁🛍☃️ by @thepeoples_doc

And just like that...

the year of 2020 and the antichrist...

has ended.

There are truly no words to describe what you have been to this country and what you embodied to our people. Your legacy will live on through the many lives you touched and stories you told through your work. Rest in peace and power...and know that your purpose was fulfilled by inspiring purpose in others.
