We choose our hard as adults. It’s hard to suffer - it’s hard to sit with the pain of the past and heal. Choosing suffering continues a cycle of pain and self pity.

Choosing to sit with the pain and not run from it all can feel like death - with death comes a new. A chance to begin again. A chance to thrive and build new beautiful foundations for ourselves.

The pain of the past is not something you can ever outrun - it’s something you can delay for a bit, sure - inevitably it will sit you down if you don’t choose to sit with it yourself.

Self love, self forgiveness, self compassion are all tools you have access to. We all have a spirit in us that is limitless and just won’t quit - even if our human body and self wants to.

To choose to live life despite the pain you’ve experienced - it takes guts, it takes a willingness to be brave and courageous enough to not know what is on the other side of that pain.

On the other side of feeling the pain and loving yourself through the worst of it - is where freedom awaits. No one is perfect yet we all deserve a chance to truly live.

If you would like to explore your own path deeper on a 1:1 level send me a DM✨

With love,
J✨
