POSTS STORIES REELS

I took this particular project very personally.

From the moment we started planning, I knew I didn’t just want to take pictures. I wanted to be intentional about every part of the process, the lighting, the setup, the angles, the expressions, the mood, and even the little details that might not be noticed at first glance.

Polaroids look simple, but getting them right takes a lot of intention. There’s nowhere to hide. The lighting has to work, the setup has to be clean, and the images have to capture the model exactly as they are.

I was really particular about the lighting because I wanted it to be clean without taking away from the models. I wanted the setup to feel simple but still intentional. And most importantly, I wanted the final images to feel like a true representation of the people in front of my camera.

But beyond the pictures, I’m grateful for the team I got to work with. Everyone played their part, and being surrounded by people who understood the vision made the entire process even more special.

This shoot reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place.

It’s not always about having the biggest camera or the fanciest setup. Sometimes, it’s about what you can create with what you have, how much attention you give to the details, and how much of yourself you’re willing to put into the work.

I’m proud of these.

A project I genuinely enjoyed. A team I’m grateful for. And a reminder that I’m still growing, still learning, and still finding new reasons to love this craft.

But somehow, after all these years, I’m still here.
Still learning.
Still trying.
Still creating when I can.
Still hoping.
Maybe that means something.
Maybe my journey is simply taking longer than I imagined.
And maybe, just maybe, my turn will come too.

Lately, I've embedded the skill of intentionality into my creative vision.

Some call it an eye for the unseen the ability to notice details others overlook and transform ordinary moments into compelling stories.

This mindset has challenged me to approach every project with purpose, precision, and excellence, giving nothing less than 100% of my creativity. Every frame, every angle, and every decision is deliberate.

I'm not just creating, I'm creating experiences that stand out, connect, and leave a lasting impression.

KELECHI JEREMIAH | 2026

Not every portrait needs to say too much. Sometimes, all it takes is a moment of honesty, a little stillness, and the courage to be yourself.

Authenticity is in the details, and that's exactly what we love to capture.

Featuring Kelechi Jeremiah.

Portraits that feel like you.

Ogbomoso: A People, A Culture, A Beautiful Identity.

In the past week, while documenting the remarkable work of the Funmi Adewole Foundation, I found myself drawn to something beyond the cameras, the medical outreach and the beautiful moments unfolding before me. I found myself captivated by the people of Ogbomoso.

There was something extraordinary about them. An unmistakable elegance in their fashion, a richness in their traditions and a beautiful confidence in the way they wore their identity. Every outfit told a story.

From the presence of their Kabiyesi to the everyday people in the streets, I witnessed a culture that was not merely preserved but proudly lived. A people who did not have to explain who they were because their identity spoke long before words could.

And perhaps that was my favourite part: watching a people wear their culture so effortlessly, so boldly and so beautifully.

A special shout-out to the @funmiadewolefoundation for bringing hope, compassion and smiles to the people of Ogbomoso through its medical outreach.

Some places leave you with photographs. Others leave you with memories.

Ogbomoso gave me both.

And I am grateful I had the privilege to witness it through my lens.

The goal isn’t to look like someone else. It’s to look unapologetically like YOU. 📸✨

At The PhotoGee Studios, we believe the best portraits don’t just capture faces; they reveal personality, tell stories, and preserve the little things that make you uniquely you.

No forced expressions. No pretending to be someone you’re not. Just intentional photography, thoughtful direction, and portraits that feel as real as they look beautiful.

Let’s create something authentic.

A MOMENT WITH ROYALTY.
(shot on my mobile phone) @samsung_nigeria

Earlier today, while volunteering with the Funmi Adewole Foundation @funmiadewolefoundation, I had the privilege of witnessing the arrival of the Kabiyesi of Ogbomoso at the outreach ground. @sounofogbomosoland

I've always wanted to document royalty, and today, I got a little closer to that.

In the midst of the crowd, the press, and fellow content creators, I pulled out my phone, trusted my eye for details, and got to work.

The result? These beautiful frames that I'm proud to share.

Bringing a vision to life hits different when you have the right creative minds in the room.

Had the opportunity to direct this video, working alongside a team that truly understood the vision and brought their own creativity to the process.

Special shout-out to Jerry and Donald for being part of the journey. Great things happen when vision meets collaboration. 🤝🏽

I shot these images with my @samsungmobile S22 Ultra, but they are more than just photographs. They are proof that a creative mind can create magic, even with limited resources.

The before-and-after comparison shows what my client initially captured on an iPhone, allegedly a higher model than my Samsung. Yet, the difference is evident. Not simply because of the device used, but because of the mind behind the images.

These shots were created in a bedroom, using nothing more than a torchlight from my second phone as the light source. No assistant. No professional lighting setup. No fancy location. Just an idea, a creative mind, and the willingness to make something out of what was available.

Limited gear. Limited space. Unlimited creativity.

Sometimes, it is not about the equipment you have but how well you understand and use what is available to you.

The gear matters, but the mind behind the gear matters even more.
