F1 is incredible. The culture around it can be exhausting. We wanted something quieter and more welcoming, so we built it. #womeninf1 #thepitlanesociety #f1community #f1academy by @thepitlanesociety
The Pit Lane Society Book Club Our first read is The Safekeep by Yael van der Wouden. Each month, we’ll choose one book to read together, nothing to do with Formula One, just something worth making time for. For October, we’re beginning with a novel shortlisted for the Booker Prize and winner of the Women’s Prize for Fiction. Read at your own pace throughout the month. We’ll share a few check-ins along the way, before getting together (virtually!) at the end of October to talk about it properly. No required chapters. No homework. No pretending you finished it if you didn’t. Your pace, your club. Just a very good book and some very good conversation. If you check the group chat, I’m giving away 2 copies 🤍 by @thepitlanesociety
We’ve watched the races from some gorgeous places so far this year. It’s amazing when you find your people. Come join us 🤍 #f1 #formulaone #f1girls #f1girlies #f1paddockclub by @thepitlanesociety

We were able to offer our members the opportunity to attend the @tommyhilfiger x @cadillacf1 event ahead of Silverstone, and the opportunity to interview Valtteri Bottas. They all did a superb job, we loved the new white varsity jacket and red cap. Cadillac absolutely nail their merch and the new collection is 🔥 Creating these opportunities, to be surrounded by girls, just a gorgeous wholesome feeling 🤍♥️ by @thepitlanesociety
Record breaking crowds. Record number of women discovering Formula 1. Correlation isn’t causation. Or is it? #f1girls #silverstone #f1community #womeninmotorsport by @thepitlanesociety
I asked the group chat for their Silverstone packing list, amongst the chaos and discussion of night time wees, there were some fab suggestions: Essentials - • tickets & ID • portable charger / power bank • reusable water bottle • suncream • the comfiest shoes you own • layers • snacks (protein bars, trail mix etc) If the weather turns - • spare trainers/shoes • keep dry socks in waterproof bag • full change of clothes kept in the car • flip flops Camping extras - • solar lights (all the pre-pitched tents will look the same) • mallet and spare pegs • reusable cutlery (those wooden sporks get weird after a while) • radio • she-wee/pee bags Things people forget - • antihistamines • eyedrops / eye wash (it can get v dusty!) • plasters (so much walking) • dry shampoo • sharpies for signing ops (diff colours for diff backgrounds) • squash pods (the water trackside can start to taste…interesting) If you’d like to add anything pop it in the comments below! by @thepitlanesociety
An afternoon in a room filled with inspiring women, thoughtful conversation and a shared passion for creating meaningful spaces for our voices. Noella Gabriel is an absolute powerhouse and @natalie_pinkham put it very succinctly - we’d all love to be as cool as Noella when we grow up. A female founder 37 years ago, Noellas vision extends far beyond skincare, Elemis is creating meaningful opportunities and championing greater representation for women across motorsport and beyond. @1jessicahawkins spoke so beautifully about her inspirations and her determination. Progress doesn’t happen by waiting for permission, it happens because women like Jessica continue to show up, challenge expectations and prove they belong. Thank you so much @elemis for having us and creating spaces where women’s voices are heard and celebrated. Plus your pro-collagen cleansing balm is elite. by @thepitlanesociety
