Unboxing a package all the way from Vietnam, and it is safe to say my plant-loving heart has completely skipped a beat!

A massive, heartfelt shoutout to my sweet and lovely friend Neil Sui (@theplantessentials ) for helping me secure this absolute holy grail. Bringing an Anthurium Black Cheetah × JV RL S1 into the collection feels like a total dream, and I couldn’t have done it without you!
This dark, velvety masterpiece comes from the incredible @lamthurium in Vietnam, and the quality is unmatched. The packaging was pristine, the roots are looking phenomenal, and those deeply textured, moody leaves are even more stunning in person than I ever imagined.
After giving it a moment to breathe post-transit, it was time for the ultimate milestone-carefully cleaning off the moss and transitioning this beauty into its new home. Getting its roots tucked into a fresh, super chunky custom soil media is always the most rewarding part of the process. There is nothing quite like the feeling of setting up a rare gem like this for long-term success, deeper roots, and massive future leaves!
Here’s to the next chapter of growth, watching those dark velvet hues deepen, and appreciating the incredible community that brings us all together 🌿✨ by @theplantessentials
