Achievement unlocked 🌈✅ !!!!!!!! (3.5 years later)

Without exaggeration, this is the most committed I have ever been and the hardest I have ever worked on anything in my life. I still have a lot of work left to do in terms of straightening, holding, exiting, and consistency (especially if I ever want to put it in a routine 😱), but for now I am ECSTATIC 🥳🥳🥳

Thank you so so much to all who have helped (physically and emotionally) and inspired me in my marchenko/needle/backbending journey to date, including but not limited to:
@physiofei @dr.martin.lai @thehipjoint.ca @calico.pole @flexspacestudios @aygulmemett @splits_whisperer @itselspeth @elastischool @tia_jax 💕💕💕💕💕💕

@itsnotpolesonal deserves a special shoutout for being there every step of the way 🤗🤗 can't believe we used to stretch daily at the start of the pandy 🤯

Sometimes it's worth breaking out of your comfort zone ☺️ To shedding away all those layers of false confidence 🍺

After nearly 2yr, I can now assure you there is such thing as starting preparation too early 😅 Thank you for everyone who listened to this song endlessly with me. I have personally passed the point of annoyance and reached a point of numbness 😆

I'm practicing not being a negative Nancy, so here are the Ws:

🏆 My first comp win in spite of rolling my ankle & changing my choreo days before

👘 A recognizable costume and ultimately a well-delivered concept despite my shabby sewing skills

👯‍♀️ So many amazing performances I got to watch & phenomenal people I got to meet (no if's, and's, or but's)!

There are no real L's other than my penchant for self torture as I zero in on everything that could have gone better. All I will say is - I'm still toying with the idea of re-performing again once my ankle is 💯

The silver lining 🩶: JJ let me put up my pole at home (👀 temporarily 👀) to try out my swapped moves the night before, so I am now testing out how long temporary can be 😁

Pov: you promised the person beside you during choreo you wouldn't post, but you changed your mind after

Hence why the framing is even worse than usual 🫣
