Just for a Moment… in Lisbon.

One chapter of my Just for a Moment… series, captured throughout my time in Lisbon, Portugal and focused on Black people in the quiet beauty of everyday life... working, resting, moving through the city, and simply being.

Inspired by the people who came before me, who built lives with their hands and made room for those, like me, who came after them.

Still, just for a moment, long enough to be seen.

In loving memory of Elrena and Sylvester Wiley Sr.

They were so I could be. They walked so I could fly.

My friends turned family are always bringing out the best parts of everyone around them.

Thank you so much DaNae and Jacob for letting me play amateur photographer during the most special weekend of your lives (and actually posing for my camera when yall had professionals around😭) Your kindness, encouragement, friendship, and love is felt by SO many SO deeply and I'm just so glad that you all shared your love with us for an amazing weekend! ❤️
