I’ve coached 1,000+ people to communicate with more confidence - from CEOs and Emirates cabin crew to kids at school.

I wasn’t born confident. I trained it.

Today, through The Power of Speaking, I help leaders and professionals strengthen their public speaking, executive presence, body language, vocal delivery and confidence under pressure.

Simon Sinek breaks public speaking “rules” - and that’s exactly why this works.

I analysed his famous Start With Why talk through the lens of a public speaking coach - his movement, delivery, audience connection and the choices that make the talk so effective.

The biggest lesson?

Great public speaking isn’t about following a checklist perfectly.

It’s about understanding why a technique works - so you know when to use it, when to break the rule, and how to keep your audience with you. @simonsinek

Your breath can change the way you sound before you even say a word.

When nerves hit, your breathing often gets shallow and your delivery follows.

Learn to control the breath - and you’ll feel more grounded, steady and in control when you speak.

Week 1 of The Private Speaking Circle.

We started with the mind behind the voice - confidence, self-belief, body, voice, pace and learning to speak even when it feels uncomfortable.

Because you don’t wait to feel confident before you act.

You act - and the confidence catches up.

Five more weeks to go.

Speaking faster doesn’t automatically make you sound more confident.

The real skill is knowing when to slow down, speed up, emphasise a point - and allow silence.

Networking gets much easier when you stop trying to “work the room” and start being intentional.

Be open. Be honest. Prepare before you arrive.

Know why you’re there, who you want to meet, and what you actually want people to remember about you.

That’s how you turn networking into real connection.

Another big thank you to Danielle White (@thepowerofspeaking) for leading such a practical session at our October event.

No slides, no sitting back. She had everyone up, speaking and trying things out loud. She showed why how we introduce ourselves matters, and how to deal with the natural fear of public speaking.

It’s rare to leave a session with something you can use immediately. Thank you, Danielle. by @thepowerofspeaking

A sneak peek into a live public speaking session at the @knowndxb event.

If you know me - or have been to one of my workshops - you’ll know we’re never going 45 minutes without getting the audience involved.

Because confident communication isn’t something you learn by just sitting and listening.

We learn by doing. From the very first minute. by @thepowerofspeaking

Before you speak, there are a few things you can control – and they make a huge difference.

How you prepare.
How you manage your nerves.
How you use your body and voice.
And how confidently you deliver the message you already know.

That’s exactly what we train inside Speak to Rise – not just theory, but live practice so you can actually feel the difference when it matters.

We start 22 October. Only 2 spots left.

I see it time and time again.

90% of the anxiety comes from not knowing how to prepare

You procrastinate, avoid it , don’t prepare and then crumble or feel like you “could have done better”

But what will change if you don’t change?

Showing up with the same approach , the same methods , the same preparation , same mindset? This will give you the SAME result

If it’s taking away from your message - it needs to go.

And yes, you need to keep your personality while speaking. But reduce any distracting factors : hand movements, waking back and forth during your presentation.

And if you want to learn more about public speaking - comment SPEAK and join my 4-week online program.
