A bit late to the party, but I am officially *in Schmidt’s voice* 29! 🙌🥳
Looking back at this photo @_snapshawt_ took of me at the Great Sand Dunes, I’m reminded that life is just one massive, beautiful landscape to explore. I’ve always been adventurous and no matter how old I get, I promise myself I will never stop exploring.
This past year has been a massive chapter of growth. I’m learning the art of discernment, being intentional with my energy, nurturing deep roots with old friends, and opening my heart to new connections. I’ll be real with y’all. Even with 30 just a year away, I’m still struggling with my mental health. I work incredibly hard at it every single day. But the toughest part of it is knowing how quickly that hard work can seem to vanish in just a moment. Yet, looking at this picture, I’m reminded of how much I am changing for the better. And I couldn’t do it without the truly amazing, wonderful people I have in my corner. You know who you are, and you mean the world to me. 🫶🫶🫶

Only one night in Sedona, but it has my heart. I’ll be coming back 100%. I honestly loved this place so much. But it was also the hardest night of my trip. It was the most secluded place I’ve ever camped and once it got dark my anxiety started taking over. Every “what if” I could think of started popping into my head while I was trying to go to sleep. At one point I was even scared to get out of my car just to look at the stars. I had pretty spotty service too so trying to call or text someone to calm me down wasn’t much of an option. I kinda just had to sit with it and get through it on my own. I’m really glad I pushed myself to get out and look at the stars though, because they were amazing! And waking up the next morning was just as beautiful as watching the sunset when I first got there. Solo traveling really puts your mind in some weird places lol. It makes you face parts of yourself you’d probably avoid if you weren’t alone. As much anxiety as I had that night, this place also gave me so much peace and quiet. It’s weird how both of those things can exist at the same time. I’ll definitely be coming back here, no matter what. 💚🌲🌵 by @theraylonator

Spent the night at Lake Meredith, then hopped back on the road. I knew I was going to love this trip, but I wasn’t prepared for how much. I think a part of me has always wanted this kind of life.🚗✨🌿🌞 by @theraylonator

Sometimes the best trips aren’t the ones planned. About a month ago I told my friend in LA I needed to get out of AR for a bit and he said “well come on over here. We got a place for you.” And that’s exactly what I did! This weekend was exactly what I needed. Meeting new people, and reconnecting with old friends. Even if I didn’t get to spend as much time with everyone as I wanted, it was still amazing to see everyone! When I say I sobbed when I left Sunday. It’s no joke. I am so grateful for every conversation and everyone who made it special. It was a much needed escape from reality. I’ve left with a heart full of love and a mind with new perspectives. ✨💚🧟‍♀️🎶 by @theraylonator
