Black Woman in the Simulation
Weekly Topics on mindset for creatives
POSTS STORIES REELS
This weeks topic! Tomorrow I’ll drop the notes and share a link to the article and later this week I’ll share the YouTube episode. When’s the last time you bought something because of the packaging? Big Love, Ra by @therealandralee
Black Woman in Simulation: Okay, so what if everything supports you being an artist actually? Doesn’t that feel better? I’m chasing more peace instead of over analyzing where I am and where I thought I was gonna be. Taint easy but it feels like relief when I’m in my flow. by @therealandralee
Listen this could get slightly easier, or turn worse but either way I’m becoming more of America’s problem. And I mean that in the best way. Big Love, Ra #vote by @therealandralee
This week’s topic is standing on bidness: handling the results of your choices. I’m still in drafts on this essay but essentially giving no advice just sharing some reflections on living life. Choosing differently can feel unnatural and can have mixed results so you know it’s not the easiest thing. But I feel like I’m always trying to step in my shoes even if I stumble. Big Love, Ra by @therealandralee
You’re doing better than you think you are. Big Love, Ra by @therealandralee
Chaos on one side, meditation on the other. Thank you @sza for the reminder. While SZA balances the chaos of fame I balance my inner world. Different stages, same practice of rebalancing in nature. New Essay is up at the AndraFiles Link in de bayou by @therealandralee
How are you counterbalancing your inner world? I had my own reflections I shared in this essay! Live now at raworldaddress.substack.com by @therealandralee
Past Moments in no particular order. Trying to surround myself with the most positive, uplifting, wealthy, healthy spirits as much as possible. I may dress drab but only to contrast the fab. Big Love, Ra by @therealandralee
Black Woman in Simulation: enjoying the, “it’s still not freezing cold” weather we’re having. I’m putting on anything but a jacket, today: it’s leg warmers under sworts and a quarter zip sweatshirt. by @therealandralee
The amplitude of candlelight… somehow so healing, somehow so lit. Very autumn girl attitude #mood by @therealandralee
Thankful for this opportunity to get better at social media design work through this campaign for my digital coffee dates! You can now book a session to tackle emails around around another person (me) this is great for those sorts of emails you put off due to imposter syndrome or lack of focus. You can tap me in to read a draft or just work independently! Would love the opportunity to trade industry knowledge on creative business! Some October dates still avail! by @therealandralee
Black Woman in the Simulation: I’m not even gonna mention what prompted this batch of ephemera. But I make stuff regardless of how I’m feeling and it just comes out in the work… Someone said, “alone doesn’t scare me, wrong company do.” Big Love, Ra by @therealandralee
