🖤 friendly reminder that community is everything 🖤 This year (musically) has been so incredible. Shredding with our favorite bands @badcopbadcop and @ih.rips , recording new music, having fun, being goofy, a whole lot of love. And we are so privileged to access these opportunities. simultaneously, we are living in a time where so many people are experiencing harm, danger, fear, death, abuse. We live in a country that has had a corrupt government from its inception, that has never served the needs of so many, we are all eachother have and we can learn to provide for eachother. By living in community with eachother, and supporting each others basic needs, we prove that we don’t need the government! Love you and miss you. Spending less time on this app and more time supporting food distro, medical advocacy and needs as they arise! We want to encourage you to pick one act that you can do with your community, can you get involved in local orgs running food distros? legal aid? letter write to folks in detention centers (read: concentration camps)? check in on your neighbors? cook others meals? can you give ppl rides to the doctor? tutor kids? teach them photography? donate old instruments? drive in neighborhood watches to prevent 🧊 from kidnapping your community members? learn first aid and overdose prevention and teach it to others? build food/water/hygiene kits for unhoused folks? Anything you can think of!! You are a powerful agent of change. Every action counts. Keep each other safe, always. 🎥: @gabelugophotos @nitsyrk.nightmare 📸: @digital.mousie @jack_brownley @innovacancy @fragozo.gabriel by @therealpityparty
