8cm is the transition stage during labour. She can go from 8 to 10cm fully dilated like a speed of light. Therefore, it's risky to leave her alone, so the baby won't come out in the toilet 😁. The midwife is there to receive the baby if such were to happen, but if she is not close by, maybe because the patient wanted privacy when in the restroom and the baby were to come out, this can lead to injury to the baby and or the mother.

Every October, we create breast cancer awareness 🎀, health educate the public, and conduct free breast cancer screening.
We went to Jakande market and its axis. We were at Triangle Mall. Knowledge and some gifts were shared.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting women in the world 🌎. This is not something we should ignore. The statistics are human lives. It can happen to anyone or loved ones. Let's keep spreading awareness, not fear. EARLY DETECTION SAVES LIVES !
If you notice anything strange on your breasts, please go to the nearest hospital for breast examination or further tests.
You can also send me a message to book a consultation.

Did you know that waiting a little before cutting your baby’s umbilical cord can actually benefit your baby?

When a baby is born and is stable, healthcare providers may wait for about 1 to 3 minutes before clamping the umbilical cord. This is called delayed cord clamping.
During this short period, blood continues to flow from the placenta to the baby, giving the baby additional blood volume and helping improve their iron stores & immune system.
You can even wait as much as 15 min - 20 mins as long as the baby is stable, with a good Apgar Score and not asphyxiated.

For premature babies, delayed cord clamping can provide even more important benefits, including helping with circulation and reducing certain complications.

So, that little wait can make a meaningful difference for your baby.

Nobody should have to learn these warning signs during an emergency. It is better to know them early and act fast.
Which of these did you experience during your pregnancy or someone you know?
What other warning signs were not mentioned here?

Today, I celebrate the woman I am becoming , refined by grace, strengthened by every season, and still learning, growing, serving, and becoming better.

I’m grateful for the lessons that shaped me, the people who love me, the doors that opened, and even the ones that didn’t. Every season has contributed to the woman standing here today.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but even more excited about where I’m going. 🥹❤️

Here’s to more impact, more purpose, more beautiful memories, more answered prayers, and a life that makes God proud.

Happy birthday to me. 🥂✨
