There’s something special about gathering as a church family to remember God’s faithfulness and celebrate the lives He continues to change.

On Sunday, November 22 at 6p, we’ll gather for one of our favorite nights of the year, Thanksgiving Worship + Baptism Night. An evening to worship together, give thanks for all God has done, and celebrate as people publicly declare their faith in Jesus through baptism.

And for some of you, this could be the night you take that next step.

If you’ve placed your faith in Jesus but haven’t yet been baptized, we want you to know there’s an opportunity waiting for you. Baptism is a beautiful picture of the new life we have in Christ, and we would love nothing more than to celebrate that decision alongside you.

Could November 22 be your night?

Learn more or sign up for baptism at signup.therivercc.com. We’d love to hear your story and walk with you as you take this step of faith. 💙

Visiting a church for the first time can feel like a big deal. Which door do I use? What about my kids? How can I stay connected?

We want to make walking through the doors feel a little easier. 🤍 So if you’re thinking about spending a Sunday with us, here are a few things to know before you come.

And when you get here, we’ll be ready to help you find your way. We’d love to have you at The River.

Come as you are. Welcome home.💙

What a special night together as a River family!

Last night, we had the opportunity to look back and celebrate God’s faithfulness throughout 2026 while looking ahead with anticipation to where we believe He is leading us.

We also had the privilege of ordaining 14 new Deacons and installing two new Elders, recognizing men who have answered the call to faithfully serve, lead, and shepherd our church family. What a gift to see God continue to raise up leaders who love Him, love His people, and desire to see His Kingdom advance.

We’re grateful for all God has done, encouraged by what He’s doing, and expectant for what is still to come. Our prayer is that we would continue to be a church marked by faithfulness, unity, and a deep commitment to loving God, loving people, and impacting the world.

The best part of looking ahead is knowing that the same God who has been faithful in every season is the One leading us forward 💙

Yesterday was such a sweet reminder that we all have a part to play in what God is doing through His Church!

We loved seeing so many of you connect with ministry leaders and volunteers, ask questions, and take steps toward finding your place to serve.

As we’ve been reminded throughout our Get in the Game series, God has uniquely gifted each of us for a purpose. We’re not called to simply sit on the sidelines, but to use what He’s given us to love God, love people, and impact the world.

There’s a place for you to get in the game!

We’ve spent five weeks asking, “God, what does faithfulness look like for me?”

Tomorrow, we’re taking that question one step further.

It’s Super Serve Sunday at The River, and we’re making space in our morning to explore what it looks like to put our faith into action!

God has given each of us a meaningful role to play in His Church, and there are so many opportunities to use what He’s given us to love people and make an impact.

Tomorrow will look a little different, and we can’t wait to share it with you! Come ready to explore, ask questions, connect with others, and consider where God might be calling you to take a next step.

River Kids programming will be available during all three services, so bring the whole family!

See you tomorrow at 8a, 9:30a, or 11:15a!

We weren’t saved to sit on the sidelines. We were called to serve.

But here’s the question: Who are we serving for?

If our willingness to serve depends on recognition, affirmation, or applause, we’ve missed the point. Our faithfulness isn’t rooted in what others think of us, but in the love of Christ and the calling He’s placed on our lives.

God designed His Church to be a body where every member has a purpose. We’re called to pour into one another, serve our communities, and carry the hope of the Gospel into the world.

And when we invest ourselves in the life of the Church, we get to experience the joy of being part of what God is doing.

Even when it’s hard. Even when no one notices. Keep showing up. Keep loving. Keep serving.

So, what are you doing with what God has given you?

God has uniquely equipped every believer with gifts, and those gifts were never meant to be kept to ourselves.

As we continued our Get in the Game series yesterday, we were reminded that while our gifts may look different, they all come from the same Spirit and are given for the same purpose: to serve and build up one another.

There’s freedom in not comparing our gifts, but there’s also a responsibility to faithfully use what God has given us.

God, what does faithfulness look like for me?

A transformed life chooses service over self.

Because of what Christ has done for us, we have the opportunity to respond with lives marked by humility, service, and a willingness to use what God has given us for the good of His Church.

So the question isn’t just whether we’re gifted. It’s how we’re using those gifts to serve others.

Catch up on Sunday’s message from Paul as we continue our Get in the Game series.

Tomorrow we’re back together for week three of Get in the Game, and we’re getting really practical: Why do we serve? Where do we serve? And what has God uniquely given each of us to bring to the table?

Community. Worship. God’s Word. A Sunday together. Let’s go.

See you at 8a, 9:30a, or 11:15a!
