Some things are easier said than shut off.

Turn It Off with Rebecca Patek @rebeccapatek on the Fiddle is one of the more emotionally charged moments on A Memory — two voices sitting inside the same feeling from different sides of it.

Some songs hold people inside them.

Grandma’s Piano is one of those for me.

It’s about memory, family, and the way certain people can still feel present through the things they leave behind — a sound, a room, a piano, a moment.

This is a little piece of the story behind the song.

Before the production, there was the song.

A stripped-back moment from A Memory — just voice, piano, and the story underneath it.

Some memories are too big to live in just one song.
