Booked & Ready: The Photographer’s Client Experience Guide

Someone just inquired about a session. Now what?

Booked & Ready walks you through the client experience, from that first message to gallery delivery and follow-up. It’s made for photographers who are learning how to book clients, prepare for sessions, and keep track of everything that happens in between.

📸 So you want to start photography, but what do you actually need?

The good news? You do not need the most expensive camera, 12 lenses, or an entire studio setup to start photography.

A solid starter kit can be pretty simple:
☕ Coffee, obviously.
📷 A camera you’re willing to learn inside and out
🔍 One good lens (maybe two when you’re ready)
💾 Plenty of SD cards
🔋 Backup batteries because your camera will choose violence at the worst possible time, ask me how I know!
💻 A laptop
🎨 Editing software
🖤 An external hard drive. BACK UP YOUR PHOTOS. Seriously!
📱 And your phone for timelines, posing inspo, BTS, directions, client messages, and basically everything else

The biggest thing missing from this graphic?
Practice.

You can own $10,000 worth of gear and still struggle if you don’t understand light, composition, posing, storytelling, and your camera. Start with what you have, learn the heck out of it, and upgrade when your current gear actually starts limiting you.

Your gear doesn’t make you a photographer.
Your eye, your creativity, and the stories you tell do. 🤎

What would YOU add to the starter photographer survival kit? 👀
