POSTS STORIES REELS

The last 48 hours have been a rollercoaster, to say the least. From waking up Sunday having a sweet morning with our little family, to now, missing one of the biggest pieces of our hearts. I’m still in shock.
Sunday morning was completely normal. We took the boys for a car ride for coffee and pup cups, visited friends, and came home. Hours later, Jimmy showed concerning symptoms. We rushed him to the emergency clinic thinking it was a stomach issue, but the news rocked our world.
Our Jimmy Choo was diagnosed with a large cancerous tumor in his lung, and several smaller ones. The vet gave him a couple of days to live. Palliative care was our only option.
We took our boy home to love and spoil him. Monday evening, things took a rapid turn, and this morning we decided it was his time. Jason made him salmon fillets for breakfast, we hit all his favorite neighborhood spots, got a pup cup, walked at the park, and drove by our first condo. Then, he took his final journey over the rainbow bridge, where I know Frank and his favorite dog friends were waiting.
Choosing to say goodbye was one of the hardest things we’ve ever done, but we couldn’t let him suffer. Jimmy Choo was a huge presence in our house—way more than just a dog. He was too good of a soul not to share.
Things I’m going to miss most:
🐾 His little tippy-tappys on the hardwood floors at night.
🐾 The soft snores as he rested his head on my shoulder.
🐾 The way he’d worm his way onto the couch with zero room.
🐾 Nosing the coffee table and treat cabinet for attention.
🐾 Staring at Jason during dinner and sitting on my dressing room floor.
🐾 Playing with his little brother and acting like the fun police.
Jason and I adopted Jimmy shortly after getting married. Come September, we will celebrate 10 years of marriage without our boy. But what an amazing 9+ years we had. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Until we meet again my pig cow, pumpkin muffin, baked potato with extra sour cream, sunshine boy, baby Jim, James Choo, Jimberly, James Choo Bear and my sweet precious angel. Life will never be the same without you.
Thank you to our nearest and dearest for loving our boy almost as much as we did. 🫶🏼 by @thesadieredman

The veil was thin last night. October was exactly what I needed. Pumpkin carving and Pugaween. 🎃👻💀 by @thesadieredman

It’s no secret, @marylandhousestl is made for celebrating life’s best moments. ✨ For this milestone anniversary, the occasion called for something unforgettable: a pretty-in-pink evening under the stars, overlooking the fountain, with cocktails flowing and plenty worth celebrating.

September was a whirlwind! North Coast, our 10 year vow renewal, Oktoberfest and ordinary moments in between with the best people on the planet. You aren’t living if you aren’t having moments like these with your people. by @thesadieredman

10 years down. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone than with the people who mean the most to us. And dancing the night away, of course. We’ll never stop telling them how much they mean to us, and thanking them for being there always.
What a night. It was a dream. And this time, the night ended exactly how we wanted it to. Surrounded by the people we love. Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. You are our family. And we love you all!
Happy 10 year anniversary to us!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who reached out in the last 2 weeks regarding the sudden loss of Jimmy Choo. The hole he has left in our hearts is something I haven’t experienced on this level. He was our child, and our best friend. He was a dog, but a special boy who touched so many lives over the past 10 years. We are forever grateful for the thoughtful keepsakes and love everyone shared with us. He is gone from this place, but never forgotten. Hope you’re up there chasing all the tennis balls with your brother Franky 💔🫶🏼 by @thesadieredman

July recap. A month of highs and real lows. But we made it through. Very grateful for my circle and still grieving my boy… by @thesadieredman

Happy birthday to my handsome hubs! Not a day goes by that I’m not thankful you were born. Another year older and wiser, but still fine AF! I love the life we’ve built and I can’t wait to celebrate 45 more birthdays with you. I love you the most Edmund! 😘🫶🏼 by @thesadieredman
