Surf, yoga, sunshine, and a community that feels like home… 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘁𝘆.

It never started as a business plan.
It started as a feeling.

Three friends, addicted to the ocean, sunsets, good food, and the kind of people who make life brighter, decided to build something meaningful. What came next was The Salty: a place where strangers become family, where days feel fuller, and where the little moments - the salty ones - stay with you long after you leave 🌺

You wake up slow, roll out your mat, ride waves with your crew, wander the beaches, share dinner and go to sleep knowing you’re not ’just on holiday’ - you’re creating memories to last a lifetime.

Have you ever dreamed of traveling solo, chasing summer, learning to surf, or finding a place you belong? 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗻 ☀️✨ by @thesalty__

What if your next holiday wasn’t just a holiday?
What if it was sunrise yoga, first waves, group dinners under night skies, new friendships, and the kind of laughter that sticks?

That’s The Salty.
Four locations, one community.
Portugal → Sri Lanka → Your next adventure.

Save this for when you need a reminder to book the trip 😉
Where will we see you next? (comment below!) 🩵 by @thesalty__

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽?
You’re not the only one! Over 80% of our guests arrive alone. And the best part?
None of them stay solo for long 🩵

Most people land here with the same doubts:
“Will I feel lonely?”
“Am I the only one coming on my own?”
“What if it’s awkward?”

But what actually happens is this:
You’re welcomed the moment you arrive.
You roll out your mat with the group, share breakfast, surf with your crew, spend sunny afternoons by the pool, wander the beaches, and sit down to dinner with strangers who quickly become friends.

By the end of the week, you’re swapping stories, planning your next trip, and wondering why you didn’t do this sooner. Some guests even extend their stay (more than once 👀)

So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to take the leap.. this is it!

Cold, grey winter? We have a slightly better idea ☀️🧘🏽‍♀️

The Salty Ericeira is keeping its doors open for our new long stay experience. Curated for remote workers and anyone craving a change of scenery (and a little less winter misery).

Stay for a month or make it your winter home. Work by the ocean, find your people and settle into a slower way of living.
Fancy adding some surf, yoga or fitness to your routine? We’ve got you 🏄🏼‍♀️

Less hibernating. More living. 💫 by @thesalty__

Where your biggest decision of the day is pool or beach.. Spoiler: you can do both 🥥🌊 by @thesalty__

”Is it worth it?” no better way to answer this question than with the people who’s experienced it 💫

We give you the opportunities to move, explore, challenge yourself and more… but most importantly we provide a space to do so together with others who seek the same balance in life 🤍

come for the surf & yoga, stay for the people 🌼 by @thesalty__

Ending the week with tunes, games, connection and build-your-own-🌮! Say hello to The Sunday Session; one of the newest additions to our week.
Find it in Cascais & Ericeira, and oh-so-soon in Peniche.

Coming solo on Monday? By Sunday you’ll have a whole new crew 👩🏼‍🐰‍👩🏽 by @thesalty__

A very serious look at life in Sri Lanka:
surf, sweat, eat, explore, repeat.. with a few coconuts and questionable amounts of curry in between 🥥

Suddenly winter at home doesn’t sound quite as appealing 🌴 don’t worry, we’ve got the escape plans sorted for you! by @thesalty__
