Well that was tough. Having never run more than 18k prior to race I was apprehensive to say the least.

I went out and gave it what I could and got the finish. I was always after the distance rather than a time, so a finish was the goal.

I made the mistake of running to quickly for the first 10k and then had to grind out the rest of the run.

AVG pace across the board wasnt terrible for me.

I must say I don't have any ambition to do another HM.

I am delighted to say £250 has also been raised for @gch_charity

When I started running 20 years ago, I thought it was just a physical challenge. Running this same event in 2013, 2015 and now in 2026 reminded me of the real reasons I never stopped.

I run for health, escape and sometime for the PB's

But I mostly run because I'm still fortunate enough to be able to do so.

Why do you run? Let me know ⬇️

Haters will say this is AI...

However, tonight's slow and tedious run truly left me feeling like a zombie.

I wish everyone a happy Halloween.

I’m back at it. After finishing ten days of 5ks, I got hit hard with a cold. I finally got back to it yesterday with a full-body, leg-focused workout, and today was an easy 4k run. It feels good to get two full-body days in this week again. I’m pushing myself so I see results, focusing on the big compound lifts.

I have successfully completed the 10-day 5K challenge in support of SU2C.

I am pleased to have reached today's milestone.

It has been a privilege to raise funds for such a worthy cause. #su2cuk

I would like to express my gratitude to all who contributed; your support is greatly appreciated.

I intend to take a brief hiatus to evaluate my next objective.

Day 9.

It is chucking it down. Having already been battered by the rain a few times this week, I decided to hit the treadmill for run 9.

I can believe it: 9 consecutive days of 5Ks.

Treadmill was a good way to take the stress off the legs ahead of the final 5K tomorrow.

Over the past 10 days, I have learned a lot about what I can achieve if I don't talk myself out of it. Onto the 10th.

Day 8 🥵🥵🔥

8(of 10) consecutive days of 5k for #su2c complete.🏃‍♂️💨✨

Today was a slog. I was running in body but not in spirit. 😫🌧️👣

As I get towards day 10, it is difficult mentally to keep going, but we must do hard things in life. 🧠💪⚖️

Almost there; let's get it! 🏁🚀🙌
