How many times did we say “in a minute” today… and never get around to it?

Sometimes being a more present dad starts with putting the phone down and looking at the thing they’re so excited to show us.

Today’s challenge: catch yourself once. When you can, make “in a minute” an “I’m coming.”

Day 2 of the Stoked Dad 30-day challenge 🤙🏽 Didn’t start yesterday? Jump in today. Comment STOKED if you want to join us.

Meet @jgardxs , cofounder of Stoked Dad 🤙

This idea lived in my head for a couple years, and he’s a huge reason it finally made it off the ground. Grateful to be building this with someone who believes in bringing dads together and showing up for what matters.

We’re just getting started. Keep your eyes peeled for a crazy giveaway dropping THIS WEEKEND 👀

For the dads who want to make these years count. Welcome to Stoked Dad 🤙

This has been an idea for a couple of years, and I’m so excited it’s finally here.

@jgardxs and I are bringing dads together to get outside, build friendships, pursue goals, and make memories with our kids. Runs, events, gatherings, and a community we all help shape.

We’ll have limited hats and apparel drops along the way. Small batches with few restocks, so snag what you love. The heart of this is the people and the stories we’ll build together.

Follow @thestokeddad and comment or DM “STOKED” to join the free group.

Be where your feet are. Let’s do this.

Some of the best dads you know would never brag about themselves. Here’s your chance to do it for them. 🤙🏽

Introducing STOKED DAD OF THE WEEK.

Every week, we’ll highlight one dad who keeps showing up and send him a little something from us.

The bedtime stories. The early mornings. The promises kept. We want to hear what makes him a great father and something he does consistently that makes a difference.

📩 DM us “STOKED DAD” for the quick submission checklist.

New nominations welcome every week. Your husband, your dad, your brother, your buddy—let’s give these guys some love.

Tag a dad who came to mind. 👇

🚨Something I don’t think dads talk about enough: the pressure of trying to juggle it all.

Being present with our kids. Providing for our families. Showing up for our marriage. Taking care of ourselves. Building something for the future.

Our kids want our time and attention. They need our presence. And being a dad comes with responsibilities that pull us in a dozen directions.
It’s hard to leave for work when they’re asking you to stay. It’s hard to be home when your mind is still on everything you need to get done.

I don’t think there’s one right answer. There’s a season for everything, and sometimes the balance takes more adjusting than we expected.

We’re going to have days we wish we handled differently.

Keep learning. Keep hustling. Keep making time for the people you’re working so hard for.
Show up and do your best with the season you’re in. I’m working on it right alongside you.

Follow along if you’re a father trying to juggle it all, too.

🚨 Send this to a dad who’s raising his kids with intention.

Our kids are listening, even when we don’t realize it.

The words we speak today can become the confidence, courage, and character they carry tomorrow.

We won’t get it perfect, but we can keep getting better.

Be intentional. Speak life. Stay Stoked. 🤙

Send this to a dad who’s killing it—and remind him that he’s doing a great job. 🤝

Our kids will never understand the sacrifices we make.

But they’ll remember how we loved, how we showed up, and who we were through it all.

The weight matters less than the man we become carrying it. That man—the person and the fayher we choose to be in the hard moments—just might shape our children’s lives more deeply than we’ll ever begin to comprehend.

Tag a dad who’s showing up, and becoming the kind of father his kids can count on.

🚨 Dads, that “watch this!” is worth looking up for.

The story that takes forever. The rock they need to show you. The same question for the fifth time.

Those little moments are chances to say, “You matter. I’m listening. I love being your dad.”

I need this reminder too. Put the phone down. Get on their level. Be curious about whatever has them so excited.

Today, let them lead for a little while. You might be surprised how much you enjoy their world.

Send this to a dad who shows up for his kids. Give him some credit. 🤙🏽

No hate at all to fitness influencers. Respect to anyone putting in the work.

But the dads working all day, providing for their families, showing up for their kids, and still finding a way to get after it?

That’s what fires me up.

Early mornings. Lunch break workouts. Getting it in after bedtime. Whatever it looks like in your season of life, respect for making the effort.

Tag a dad who’s doing exactly that. Let him know you see him 🤙🏽

Come out October 24 for the Kickin Asthma race in Utah! 🤙🏽 Register through the link or DM me and I’ll send it your way. Let’s get a solid Stoked Dad crew out there!

Huge shoutout to my friend Will, the legend behind the nonprofit putting this on. He just finished walking the ENTIRE length of Japan, top to bottom. Unreal.

Stoked to support him and the work he’s putting into this. Come run with us and show him some love. 🔥

Life isn’t slowing down. Let’s start anyway. 🤙🏽

The STOKED DAD 30 DAY CHALLENGE starts TODAY!

30 days of keeping our word to ourselves, being intentional with our families, and having other dads in our corner.

Here’s what we’re committing to EVERY DAY:

1️⃣ 10,000 STEPS
Walks with the kids, steps at work, workouts. It all counts.

2️⃣ 30 MINUTES OF INTENTIONAL MOVEMENT
Lift, run, bike, hike, or do recovery movement. Your walk can count toward both your movement and your steps.

3️⃣ KEEP YOUR 3 PROMISES
Each night, review today’s promises and write three specific actions for tomorrow: one as a dad, one for work, and one for fitness. Make them clear and achievable. Then follow through.

4️⃣ 20 MINUTES OF UNDIVIDED FAMILY TIME
Phone away. Play, read, talk, or do bedtime together. Traveling for work? Make it an intentional call. Twenty minutes is dedicated attention to build on.

5️⃣ 10 MINUTES OF PERSONAL GROWTH
Read, journal, study scripture, or listen to something educational. An audiobook on your walk counts.

6️⃣ ONE PERSONAL COMMITMENT
Choose something you want to follow through on for all 30 days. Define a specific daily action and stick with the same commitment throughout the challenge. Big or small, make it matter to you.

Miss something? Track it honestly and show up again tomorrow. No restarting. Aim for all six every day, and keep going when a day doesn’t go to plan.

Busy? Motivation low? Jump in with us. We’re making room for the things we keep saying matter.

Comment STOKED to join us, save the checklist, and send this to a dad you want doing it with you.

Presence. Pursuit. Example.
Let’s GO! 🤙🏽
