The enemy is busy… but so are we.

Let me keep it all the way real: Elevé wasn’t even supposed to be a dance studio in Lawrenceville. 😅
It was supposed to be a small community center program, a side passion project, while I worked my full-time remote job in software. I was COMFORTABLE! I had a little vision and a big heart… but God had other plans.

The demand was high. But more importantly, the need was greater than what I imagined. So what started as something small has grown into a full-blown studio, a ministry, and a movement that’s bigger than me.

And whew growth is beautiful, but it doesn’t always come wrapped in pretty packaging. I was called to dance, nurture, and pour into people. Not wrestle with portals, invoices, or paperwork at midnight. 🥹😩

But when God puts purpose in your hands, the enemy will absolutely try to bring distractions, doubt, and drama. Especially when you love what you do and who you do it for.

Here’s the truth though…..I’m learning. We’re growing. We’re improving our systems. We’re getting more organized and more intentional, because we know we’re being called higher.

This journey hasn’t been perfect, but it’s been powerful. Thank you to every single family who has stuck beside me, prayed for me, offered grace, and believed in what we’re building. I see you. I appreciate you. And I promise, the best is yet to come.

God gave me this gift and the blueprint. My job is to keep showing up, learning through my shortcomings, taking accountability then CORRECTING, dancing through the mess, keeping my faith through the madness, and building something that honors Him. That’s exactly what I’m going to do.

Some days, I wish I could go back to just teaching dance for the pure fun of it. No payroll. No HR. No policies or parent emails. Just music, movement, and kids who love to dance. I never started this thinking it would turn into a full-on business I just wanted to share what I love. But when you’re called to something and the need is bigger than your original plan, God stretches you. And now I’m learning to lead with both heart and structure even when all I want to do is just dance. 💛 by @thesydneecarroll

Sacred Valley. We came to see the culture… and ended up weaving ourselves into it. Made yarn. Foraged for herbs to dye it. Learned about Incan culture. Experience of a lifetime 🧶🇵🇪 #peru #artisan #weaving #quechua #andes by @thesydneecarroll

Ayla takes Kindergarten ❤️🖤🦅

My prayer is that God continues to guide you, protect you, and give you confidence as you grow. May you always know who you are and whose you are. Walk boldly, be kind, and never be afraid to shine.

“…the Lord will make you the head and not the tail. You will always be at the top, never at the bottom…” — Deuteronomy 28:13 🤍

I pray this over you today and every day, my sweet girl. Mommy is so proud of you, and I’ll always be cheering you on. Here’s to kindergarten! 🎀📚✨ by @thesydneecarroll
