📣 If you do a good TEFL Course, you don't need a course or mentor to get you classroom ready.

Any decent TEFL course gives you all the tools and knowledge you need to teach in an EFL teacher. You don't need to spend money on a course that shows you how to get a job or a mentor giving you confidence to be in the classroom.

💪 You just have to do it. Experience is the best teacher.

PS this is why I will never recommend a free TEFL course. They're a waste of time and nothing else. And anyone recommending them is probably receiving commission every time someone signs up with their link.

👋 Hi, I'm Kirsten. I've been in TEFL since 2003 and ai give FREE advice for anyone thinking about teaching English abroad or online. And I can recommend a reputable, internationally recognized TEFL Course.

More than one thing can be true ✨️

TEFL teaching is a career that doesn't have to take over your life. In fact, the more of your outside life you bring into the classroom, the better teacher you are.

I love being a TEFL teacher but there are many other things that make up who I am.

💫 If I had to choose, #1 is the most important 💫

Invest in a TEFL course that is going to set you up for success - or else it's just a waste of your time and money.

TEFL course checklist:
✔️ 120 hours
✔️ accredited
✔️ NOT free
