#VOTE today is the primary of many states - IOWA included. Please #getoutthevote www.vote.org by @thetoddrhoades

I had the honor of choreographing for the Ballet Des Moines Trainee Program this year. With the dancers, I created “Seen”. It was an incredible experience working with these phenomenal artists and watching how they stepped into curiosity, uncertainty, and trusting themselves and the process. Watching each dancer grow, not just throughout my rehearsal process, but throughout the year has been such an inspiration. Best to each of you and merde for the remaining performance tonight. I’m so proud of each of you.

Valuing profit over human lives…just one more extreme example of this administration’s value system, foresight, compassion, and Making America Great Again.

There’s so much fighting to be done - and so much clean up that needs to be done…but sadly, it won’t be us. It will be the next generation, and the next, and the next, and the next that will have to create some sort of semblance of what we’ve dreamed of.

The eve of another birthday and I'm reflecting and giving incredible thanks for my life and the beauty that is surrounding me. I recently accepted a job at Ballet Des Moines as their Director of Development. This position infuses all of my passions and experience of my life - creation, cultivation, advocacy, and collaboration. I'm thrilled to work with such an amazing team full of inspiration, passion, and kindness. ...and I'm thrilled to be sharing my life with a beautiful human who supports me and loves me - we are creating a phenomenal life together.

BTW, if you have the inclination to want to take me for a coffee or a drink, consider donating to Ballet Des Moines Spring Appeal: https://www.balletdesmoines.org/art-changes-lives or donate to an arts non-profit that you are passionate about.
