the new summer menu has arrived at @whitehorselincoln and wooowww what a little treat this is 🌞🍹🍴

everyone who knows me knows how much i love it here and how i’ll always recommend this place — a little sun trap beer garden, ace cocktails (although i’ll never not order a kine sangria), calm and cosy interior and an ever changing vibrant menu

not only did we get to have some gorgeous food, with my personal favourite being the shio mojo whipped tofu, but we had the pleasure of @lincolnwineschool taking us through a selection of wines.. and i cant believe i found 2 red wines and 1 white wine that i actually like (no it’s not the age..)

so fun to be able to catch up with some of the @lincolnbloggersuk girls too. feeling very grateful! 🫶🏼

if you haven’t been to lincoln before, this is your sign to visit the most incredible cathedral i̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ 😉🤫 you won’t be disappointed

a beautiful hidden gem in lincoln — @lazizalincoln indian restaurant!

what was ordered:
🦐 mahi jhinga - king prawns marinated in tandoori spices
🧅 sabzi platter - onion bhaji, veggie somosa and aloo tikki

🧀 kaalimirch paneer curry - creamy sauce with cashew nuts, peppercorn, onion, tomato, garlic & ginger
🌶️ garlic chilli chicken - rich and fiery dish cooked with fresh garlic, chilli, onion & tomato
🍚 pilau rice
🫓 tandoori roti and popadoms with a pickle tray

now a restaurant that can tend to a fussy eater like myself is one that i’ll forever shout about — this is exactly what makes a place stand out from others. i was able to adjust my main course to be vegetarian and also tone down the spice (don’t come for me!!!) and i’m so glad i spoke to the waitress about it as she made me feel like no trouble at all for asking. hands down one of the best tasting curry’s i’ve ever had!

an absolutely perfect place if you want a properly tasty authentic indian, surrounded by stunning views and staff that make you feel SO special. i’ll absolutely be back and i’ve thought about eating it all again every day since!
