’Twas the night before Yule,
And all the little creepy cryptids and Krampuses
Crafted gifts for their loved ones.
Come see what wares they sell,
Before the morning turns Yule. 🌲🕯️

The Night Before Yule is coming to Union Station! Join The Wicked Bazaar for an afternoon of winter enchantment, curious treasures, and last minute holiday shopping for the delightfully strange people in your life.

Browse gifts and creations from local makers, artists, and merchants, find something worthy of slipping beneath the tree, and perhaps take home a little magic for yourself. Witches, winter wanderers, and creatures of all kinds are welcome. 🖤

✨ Vendor applications are now live! We’re calling on makers and merchants whose wares belong among our creepy cryptids and festive little beasts. Come share your creations with us. Applications close October 30th. Vendors will hear back from us November 6th.

You’re invited to dinner. How brave of you to accept. 🩸

The Wicked Bazaar presents The Bloody Banquet, a Dracula-inspired dining experience where blood, bites, and bad behaviour are on the menu. Expect an evening of decadent dishes and dark temptation, where the company is charming and the intentions are questionable.

Save the date, and consider who you’d like beside you at the table. 🥀

As always I am so sad that October is over but I am looking back at how amazing the @thewickedbazaar Haunted Lovers Masquerade was 🖤

I love any excuse to hang out with my amazing friends, be creative and dress up.

Here is a closer look at my Bride of Frankenstein inspired look 👰🩸 by @thewickedbazaar

500 beautiful, spooky, whimsical people walked through those doors and made Haunted Lovers their own. 🖤

We imagined a ballroom filled with gothic romance, extraordinary outfits and people who would embrace the occasion. Seeing you arrive in your masks, gowns and carefully chosen details was something else entirely.

Thank you to our guests, performers, vendors, readers, volunteers and everyone who helped bring this night together. We’re still taking it all in, and there’s so much more to share.

Until then, a little look inside our haunted ballroom. Were you there? Tell us your favourite moment. 🥀

Yay!! I’m the lucky draw winner of this beautiful Trick or Treat Sam from @thewickedbazaar !!! So excited!! by @thewickedbazaar

Haunted Lovers, you were a beautiful sight. 🥀🖤

After months of planning, getting to stand in that ballroom and watch you bring this gothic little dream to life was something I’ll never forget. The care you put into your looks, the dancing, the conversations, and the joy of being surrounded by people willing to embrace a little fantasy made every corner feel alive.

Thank you to our guests for trusting the invitation and showing up so wholeheartedly. To our vendors, readers, performers, sponsors, and everyone working behind the scenes, you gave this evening so much character and heart.

To my volunteers, friends, and family. thank you for the lifting, the running around, the last minute problem solving, and for being people I could count on when I couldn’t be everywhere at once.

I’m also grateful to everyone who supported our fundraising for DASCH Inc. through raffle tickets and donations. It means so much to have giving back be part of what we create together.

There was a time when I wished someone would throw a ball for people like us. Thank you for helping me become the woman who does.

With a very full heart,

Kari 🕯️🦋 by @thewickedbazaar

Halloween is when my everyday personality becomes seasonally acceptable. Naturally I organized a gothic masquerade. 🖤🥀🧹

It just feels right to (almost) end the year in the same place I did last year, bringing things full circle. I hope I always get to, because I don’t even have to go to other events to know that @thewickedbazaar is the best Halloween event out there. I’m so grateful I got to participate and entertain all of you, you’re all the best!

Had a glamorously good time at @thewickedbazaar Masquerade Ball.
Honestly, the highlight was playing dress up together all day to decide on our outfits. It’s hard to imagine life without the joy of costuming we all share. by @thewickedbazaar

Dinner with Dracula? How could you possibly refuse. 🩸🦋
