Sometimes you just have to leap, because even if it doesn’t go as planned, you can always come home. by @thewildwoolies

It's never just a goodbye. It's leaving behind little routines, familiar places, unexpected adventures, and memories that somehow become part of you.

Zambia was such a special chapter for our family. A chance to reconnect with a place that means so much to me, for our children to experience a different side of the world, and to make memories we'll carry with us forever.

And now, we're back in Germany, ready to settle into a new season of life.

A little sadness for what we're leaving behind, a whole lot of gratitude for what we've experienced, and so much excitement for everything still waiting for us.

Because home can be more than one place, and the adventure doesn't have to end just because the scenery changes.

Here's to our next chapter. by @thewildwoolies

A new gem to discover in Zambia 🇿🇲✨

Meet New Kalala Lodge in Itezhi-Tezhi, just a stone’s throw from Kafue National Park. 🌿🐘

Some places you visit… and some places leave you speechless.

Victoria Falls was definitely one of those places. The sound, the spray, the sheer power of the water.. you really can’t understand it until you’re standing there.

One of those moments you’ll remember long after you’ve left. by @thewildwoolies

A little gem to stop at between Lusaka and Kafue National Park, in Mumbwa.

The Olive Grove is the perfect place to slow down, relax and recharge before continuing your journey. Beautiful surroundings, delicious food and great drinks… what more could you want? 🍽️🥂✨

If you’re heading towards Kafue, definitely add this one to your list!

Sometimes all you need is a little fresh air…

And by “fresh air,” I mean 30,000 feet above the ground, looking out the window and pretending all your problems are still down there. by @thewildwoolies

One year of Zambia. 🇿🇲

One year in Zambia.

A whole year of calling Zambia home. 🇿🇲

365 days in Zambia.

Now that we've spent a year in Zambia, I've been reflecting on just how much can change in a year.

Then you could flow into something like this:

One year of Zambia. 🇿🇲

It's hard to believe that a whole year has passed. Looking back, I'm amazed by how much can change in such a short space of time.

I've grown personally and professionally in ways I never expected. I've learned that sometimes you have to let people go to make room for your own growth, and in doing so, I've been lucky enough to find friendships I never saw coming.

This year has also brought heartbreak. Saying goodbye to my grandmother while being so far away was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced. Grief has a way of changing you, but so does love, and I'll carry hers with me wherever I go.

Through every road trip, every waterfall, every safari, every challenge, and every new experience, Zambia has given me memories I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

To everyone who has been part of this journey... thank you. Thank you for your kindness, your friendship, and for making this year so special.

Here's to another year of growth, adventure, and making the most of this beautiful life. 🤍 by @thewildwoolies

Morocco, you were a feast for the senses. 🇲🇦✨

Spice markets bursting with colour, intricate architecture, beautiful Moroccan decor, glowing lanterns, hidden courtyards and the calm of a beautiful riad.

Every corner felt like a little piece of art. 🧡🌿 by @thewildwoolies
