Keeping Black culture alive matters because itโ€™s a living record of resilience, creativity, and community. It carries the stories, music, food, language, faith, and traditions that were built under hardship and still shaped the world,When a culture is remembered and passed down, young people know where they come from and what theyโ€™re capable of. @culturecon is supporting black artists and businesses, telling our family stories, teaching the full history, and celebrating who we are. So blessed to be in a room with so many talented people! #culturecon by @theylovemilah
Found a new gem! ๐Ÿ’› @youzuribeauty store has great prices, great reviews, and a salon in the back, so you can shop and get done all in one stop. I had a heart to heart with the owner, and she shared that business has been slow. This is a Black woman-owned business, and it needs our support. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ Small businesses keep money in our community, create local jobs, and give us spaces that actually cater to us. When we show up for them, weโ€™re helping a dream stay alive. Go say hi, tell her jamilah sent you, and grab something you need while youโ€™re there. ๐Ÿ›๏ธโœจ ๐Ÿ“ YOUZURI BEAUTY SUPPLY 2534 Pitkin Ave Brooklyn, NY 11208 United States #SupportBlackOwned #brooklynhiddengems #ShopSmall #BlackOwnedBeautySupply #ugccreators by @theylovemilah
Thereโ€™s something freeing about a camera that doesnโ€™t let you look back. With the Camp Snap Pro by @campsnapph.official , thereโ€™s no screen to check, You press the button, trust the moment, and move on. At Culture Con, that made all the difference. Instead of hovering over my phone trying to get the perfect angle, I was networking , making new memories and The photos became a plus. swipe to see my review of the camp snap pro :) ๐Ÿช‚ #ugc #ugccontentcreator The CS Pro is GAS - the flash is very powerful & makes the pictures come out 10x better , my favorite flash setting is selfie mode - the CS PRO holding 500 shots in one charge is amazing , I charged the camera once & ive been non stop taking pictures for 3 days now & its only at 3/4 bars - the 4 filter dial is my favorite feature, the filters make the photos so dreamy and nostalgic โ€ฆ my go to filter is VTG2 -the photos are so easy to download & no wifi needed takes less than 2 mins safe to say โ€ฆโ€ฆ im obsessed !!!!! @campsnapph.official okay now the fun stuff โ€ฆ check out my #culturecon dump ๐ŸŽจ #camerareview by @theylovemilah
@olandria ๐Ÿ’› Every student deserves to feel celebrated at their milestone moments. But for too many, prom and graduation pictures are a luxury their families canโ€™t afford. Thatโ€™s why Im launching Love Donโ€™t Cost a Thing, a initiative providing free graduation and prom photos to students going through hardship. Olandria, your work in fashion, culture, and educational access shows how deeply you care about lifting up the next generation. Youโ€™d be the perfect sponsored host for this project, bringing your voice, your style, and your leadership to help us reach more students and show them their moment matters. Iโ€™d love to partner with you to make this something special. ๐Ÿ“ฉ DM me or email jamilahugc@gmail.com to connect. Help us get this in front of her. SOLD OUT: 100 concerts. 1 year. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ๐ŸŽถ Welcome to my concert diary for the next year. Music has always been close to my heart. I grew up in a house where the music never ever stopped. It was a song to every memory . Somewhere along the way I realized music does more than fill a room. It opens you up to new perspectives. A crowd of thousands singing the same words is proof that we're more alike than we think. So I'm chasing that feeling 100 times this year !!!!! Big arenas, tiny dive bars, GA , VIP , artists I love, and artists I've never heard of. Follow along for the whole ride. ๐ŸŽค who should I go see? Drop your must-see artists in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡ #SOLDOUT #100Concerts #LiveMusic #MusicLover #ConcertSeries by @theylovemilah
