📣 GDSFC – GLASGOW’S SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2026 🎅🏻🎄🎁❤️ We’re delighted to officially launch our 2026 Glasgow’s Spirit of Christmas Appeal! ❤️ This is something incredibly close to my heart and one of the things that makes me most proud to be part of GDSFC. For around 8 or 9 years now, our league has proudly supported this fantastic cause, helping bring some Christmas magic to children and families who need it most across Glasgow and the surrounding areas. 🎁 LAST YEAR WE RAISED OVER £6,000 IN GIFTS! 🎁 An absolutely phenomenal achievement, made possible by the generosity of our clubs, managers, players, referees and committee. I’d love to see us come together and make Christmas 2026 another special one! ❤️ ⸻ 🎄 WHY DO WE DO THIS? Imagine being a child waking up on Christmas morning with no presents under the tree, no toys to open and perhaps not even a Christmas dinner to look forward to. Sadly, that’s the reality for far too many children. Every child deserves to experience the excitement and magic of Christmas, regardless of their family’s circumstances. As a football community, we have an opportunity to make a real difference. ❤️ ⸻ 🎁 HOW CAN YOUR CLUB HELP? We’re inviting GDSFC clubs to get involved by donating Christmas gift bags for children aged 0–16 years. Gift bags could include: 🧸 Toys or games 📚 Books or colouring sets 🧣 Hats, scarves or pyjamas 🍫 Chocolates or Christmas treats 🧴 Toiletries or gift vouchers for older children 💷 Prefer to make a financial donation? That’s absolutely fine too! We can use any money donated to purchase gifts for the age groups most in need. There is no minimum donation and absolutely no pressure on any club to participate. I appreciate that times are difficult for many people and families. Whether it’s one gift bag, a few presents or a club collection, every contribution is genuinely appreciated. ⸻ 📦 FINAL DELIVERY DATE 🗓️ Wednesday 16th December 2026 We’ll coordinate delivery arrangements with GDPOC for gift drop off. ⸻ ⚽ CALLING ALL GDSFC MANAGERS! Our referees are already getting involved again this year, which is fantastic to see! 👏 I’d now love to invite our clubs to by @third_lanarkafc_sunday

Inter inchinnan 3 third lanark 3 1st half started bright and took the lead Through a great cross from James mcenhill and was met by Paul McMahon to header into bottom corner made it 1-0 and within a couple mins a long ball played and we found ourselves tied at 1-1 then inter inchinnan had the momentum to keep pushing forward and another goal which left us trailing 2-1 at half time Into second and we started the same way we ended the first very passive and all over the place and it took a great ball forward from James mcenhill for Lewis dorans who was brought down in the box penalty kick Jamie steps up and hits the post and within 5 mins we found ourselves 3-1 down and to be honest deserved to be as they were taking all there chance while we were huffing and puffing and it wast until about the 70th min we actually started playing like ourselves and Kris hardie right footed strike from outside the box made it 3-2 and we kept chapping on the door but it didn't look like it was gonna be our day we hit the post again and then in 80th min Matthew glen header put us level and it was all third lanark from there on in that had inter inchinnan holding on and having 8 players behind the ball and leaving there 2 Cfs up top to try catch us out Very disappointed in the performance more of a point gained that 2 points lost Referee motm Sam Ronald Sponsor motm Kris hardie by @third_lanarkafc_sunday

Polonia Glasgow vs Third Lanark Sundays Scottish Ams Cup 2nd Round Toryglen Kick-off : 2pm Full-Time Result : Polonia Glasgow 0 – 7 Third Lanark Sundays First Half Third Lanark hit the ground running from the first whistle and never looked back. Dominating possession, their passing, movement, and vision were outstanding. It didn’t take long for the deadlock to break. Jamie McCrindle stepped up to curl a pinpoint free-kick from the right side outside the box into the net — a stunning opener. Minutes later, it was two, a freekick crossed in and Barry Waddle with a perfect header past the polonia keeper who had no chance The goal of the game arrived soon after — a moment of pure class from Martin Donan, who executed a spectacular scissor-kick right over the goalkeeper from outside the area. The goals kept coming, another cross found Waddle unmarked for his second simple tap-in, before McCrindle struck again with a perfectly taken finish from distance. James McEnhill turned provider just before the interval, delivering a fine cross that made it an easy tap-in for another. Martin O’Neil also went close, striking the post from a corner, as Third Lanark ran riot. Polonia Glasgow offered very little — just two half-chances that they couldn’t convert — and frustration crept in, with the home side frequently kicking out. At the break, it was 6–0. The half-time team talk was straightforward, enjoy the performance, but do not drop the intensity — go out, make a statement, and add to the tally. Second Half Third Lanark controlled the tempo perfectly after the restart, slowing the pace, keeping the ball moving, and making Polonia chase — tiring the Premiership side out effectively. Jamie McCrindle struck the bar with a free-kick from outside the box, and the rebound couldn’t be forced home. Barry Waddle went close from outside the area, the keeper saving well to his left. Third Lanark made four substitutions as the half progressed, freshening things up without losing control. Another free-kick came their way after a Polonia handball, but this one was struck straight at the keeper. Five minutes later, the seventh goal arrived to seal the tie, Michael Langan del by @third_lanarkafc_sunday

Third Lanark 7 Fordbank star 1 We started the game positive and took a early lead through a right footed striker for Anthony Gallagher which we thought should have calmed us down a bit but we let Fordbank back into the game and they punished and got the equaliser to make it 1-1 and they probably were the better side for a 15 min spell where we struggled to get out foot in the game then we scored through Paul McMahon with his first goal and grew into the game And a think half time come at the right time for us Half time we got the boys in and gave them more instructions and what we expected of them in the second half and to a man everyone took on board what was asked of them and added to our lead through Paul McMahon for his second and our third of the game then we became the more dominant team and would go as far as saying beat 45 mins a have seen third Lanark since taking charge Then we are awarded a penalty and Paul McMahon slots home for his hat trick and his third hat trick or the season then we got 3 goals in 7 mins through James Mcgill Martin O'Neill and Daniel fus to make the score 7-1 and on another day if we started the first half the way we did the second half it could have been a lot more goals great team performance today from every single player Today's Man of the match was Paul McMahon @gdsfc2008 @cambusmot @radioglasgow by @third_lanarkafc_sunday

Third lanark 3 🔴⚪️ Cumbernauld united 1 🅰️ Today seen us take on a team from the A&C league in the Scottish cup 🏆 We got the game underway and from the first whistle we dominated play and kept pushing for the first goal and we had numerous chances to take the lead but ended up being caught out at the back and Cumbernauld united took a surprise lead and that gave them a bit of confidence and they came close again before the half ended and we went into the break down by one 🤕 Into the second half we started the sharpest of the sides and desperate to set right the first half and the equaliser eventually came a strike from Paul McMahon put us level and after his goal we started to play the football we have been playing all season and once we switched on there was only going to be one winner, as we pressed and attacked the opposition goal constantly and finally Cumbernauld broke under pressure a quick second from James McGill put us ahead and then finally Paul finished them off with his second of the game and our 3rd to put us safely into the next round 🪄 All the best to Cumbernauld united for the rest of there season 🤝 Today's man of the match was Paul McMahon (referees) Sponsor man of the match was Matthew glen @gdsfc2008 @radioglasgow @cambusmot #sundayleague #scottishcup #glasgowfootball #football #thirdlanarkafc by @third_lanarkafc_sunday
