🍺 Pints & Plots Challenge 🍺

Another challenge from the #OldSkoolChallengeClub chosen by @hook.me.a.book was to find books that could be pub names, here’s what I found

🍻 Queen Bee
🍷 The Other Mrs
🥃 The Pact
🥂 The Heights
🍸 Mixed Doubles

I think I’ll pop to the Queen Bee tonight, which pub do you fancy drinking at?

📚 Book Challenge 📚

My first challenge this week as part of the #OldSkoolChallengeClub chosen by @chapter1.page1 is #keepitinthefamily

So sitting on my bookshelves are

First Wife’s Shadow
The Daughter
The Stepson
The Mother
Young Wives Tales
The Third Wife
The Family Upstairs
The Family Remains

I’ve read all of these books except Young Wives Tales and The Stepson.

Who do you have sitting on your bookshelves?

📚 November Hopeful’s 📚

I’m trying to reduce my physical tbr books as my bookshelves are overflowing 🤭 so I’m hoping to read these three books plus one kindle book this month.

Have you read any of these books?

Monthly Round Up 🧡

October has been a great reading month for me, I usually read 2 books a month but I have actually read 5 this month 🎉.

I’m still reading a mixture of physical books and kindle books which seems to be working for me. I definitely read more quicker on the kindle but do love a physical book.

I’ve really enjoyed all of the books I’ve read this month, my favourite was The Perfect Marriage - this was such a fast paced book that it was hard to put down.

Have you got a favourite book that you have read this month?

Early start this morning so perfect time to start my new book, I’ve read great things about this one so I’m excited to see what it’s all about.

Is anyone else struggling with the clocks going back? 😴

Have you read this book?

📚 Sunday Stack 📚

Today’s stack was inspired by @kindgirlsbookclub who recently completed a Bookshelf Treasure Hunt, here are the prompts and my finds:

💎 your longest book
📚 Grown Ups - 633 pages

💎 your shortest book
📚 Christmas at Red Robin Cottage - 241 pages

💎 your next read
📚 The New Neighbours

💎 your latest addition
📚 Ugly Love (a recent vinted purchase)

💎 being avoided
📚 Unnatural Causes

All of these books are waiting to be read and the book I’ve been avoiding has been waiting since 2020 so I’m planning on reading it before the end of the year.

Have you completed a bookshelf treasure hunt?

🖤❤️ Saturday Stack 🖤❤️

This week’s stack has been inspired by @book.aholicsclub who recently posted a Ladybird book stack🐞 which I thought looked amazing 🤩 so I decided to see what books I could find to create mine.

Most of these are on my tbr pile apart from I Found You by Lisa Jewell which was such a great book.

Have you tried a Ladybird book stack?

🧡 New Book Day 🧡

Happy Sunday, a nice slow day for us so I’m excited to start my new book. I read my first Andrea Mara book earlier this year and liked her style of writing so thought I would make a start on this one.

Have you read this one?

What are you currently reading?

🎃 Saturday Stack 🎃

Combining my Saturday stack with a challenge from the #OldSkoolChallengeClub this one was chosen by @jac_in_a_book and is #pumpkinpicks

We had to stack our books to either create the shape or colour of a pumpkin 🎃

I opted for a stack and how gorgeous do these colours look together 🧡

All of these books are patiently waiting to be read 🧡

Early finish from work means I can start my new book and as always I like to pair a new book with coffee and chocolate.

I’ve seen great reviews about this book so I’m looking forward to reading it
