Isolating vocals and looping em’ might be my favorite way of transition 💁🏽‍♀️🥹 by @thisis.taylah
Yesterday’s lil session before heading out to celebrate my last year with a 2 in it 🥂✨ by @thisis.taylah
Day 37 🎧 Arghhh I will never get tired of Ojuelegba🙂‍↔️ (The easiest transition I’ve done so far 🥹👉🏽👈🏽 Technically? Questionable. Did it work tho? Absolutely.) by @thisis.taylah
Day 36 🎧 Haven’t been posting erthang, but I liked this transition so here we go.✨ Long build-up for this one… apparently amapiano and baile funk are friends now. Who knew. 👀 #djing #beginner by @thisis.taylah
Day 25 🎧 Not every day gotta be cute, but at least I’m trying to make a cute one out of it 😂 Anyway.. we keep learning, and we keep going. 🙂‍↕️💕 by @thisis.taylah
Day 24 🎧 Currently fighting with phrasing and transitions. 😭 I’ve watched a thousand tutorials and honestly… I feel a lil overwhelmed. Butttt it’s not even been a month, and I can already feel myself getting more confident with it day by day. 💃🏽 by @thisis.taylah
DAY 23 🎧 Ngl I didn’t even know I was supposed to start recording from day 1 😭 so we’re starting here. Also fully assuming it’s day 23 but I know it’s been less than a month🤓🙂‍↕️ Had to put singing on ice for a bit for several reasons, but DJing has been giving me something to focus on, something joyful, and most importantly a way to stay connected to music. Music really is the ONE thing that can lift my spirit when life is doing the absolute most. (cats, family & friends obviously get their flowers too 🥹💐) I’ll be posting the fails too btw because trust me… they happen lel 😭😂 Just documenting the learning process, one step a time.
