Luxury nut brittle 😋

It consists of all my favourites; cashews, almonds, walnuts and macadamia nuts ❤️

This brittle is sweet, caramely and very simple to make.

Pro tips: please be very cautious when making this recipe. Hot sugar is not just hot sugar. It’s VERY hot sugar.

Make sure to use only a wooden spoon when making this.

How to make Nut Brittle:

1 cup sugar
4 tbs golden syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup water
1 cup mixed nuts
2 tbs butter or margarine.
1/2 tsp baking soda

In a small saucepan, pour sugar, golden syrup, salt and water. Cook until melted over low heat. Stirring consistently.

Once melted and combined, Turn the heat up to medium and continue to cook for 10-12 minutes.

Add butter to sugar mixture and stir until combined. Continue to cook until mixture hardens when tested in cold water

Remove from heat and mix in the nuts and baking soda.

Pour into a well greased casserole dish and allow to cool completely.

Chocolate covered pretzel sticks 😋

I love how the sprinkle of sea salt on the pretzel sticks just make the chocolate flavours more intense and sweet. I definitely recommend this one 😋

These only lasted about 10 minutes 😞

Peach ice tea❤️

Made with fresh peach syrup and rooibos tea. Green tea works really well for this recipe too 😉

Keep an eye on my highlights for the recipe.
