Another successful resource distribution with @comrade_hawkeye , @thisiskit1311 , @theplantboy_ , and the @blackpantherparty_ga_chapter .

If you dont know Marietta has criminalized homelessness. We have heard stories of the Marietta PD hurting our unhoused friends. Somethings gotta give. Your way of life is not the only way. We need a system of support today. Speak and stand up for those less fortunate everyday.

ON NOTICE. Anti camping, anti homeless , and loitering laws are not the solution. They are bullshit. People experience homelessness for a variety of reasons. We just want to help as best we can.

Recently we relocated our humble distribution to another location, to respect a property owners' wishes. We even offered free repairs and to cleannup trash on the property we were being asked to leave. This offer is open to anyone willing to work with us. We had been setting up there regularly for 5 months. We just want to help.

The sidewalk is public property. Our new location is in front of an abandoned mcdonalds on bells ferry. We will find a way to continue serving the community. We just want to help.

If anyone knows of any businesses or churches that would allow us to set up regular distributions and bring a mobile shower unit, we want to work with you! Let us know what we can do t make that happen. We just want to help

No one group, org, or church can do it alone lets work together to find real solutions. We just want to help

Be the change everyday

We need your help, not tomorrow, but today and everyday! If we're going to make a change we are going to need to create parallel intercommunal systems. It is possible.

Groups, orgs, nonprofits, and individuals. Lets create a support system across the southeast to exchange essential resources, and skills where we connect locations that are no more than 15 minutes apart. We have motivated friends in Athens, Gwinnett, Marietta, Kennesaw, Decatur, Clarkston, and Atlanta ready to help. We need goods, resources, artist, craftspeople, trades people, educators and anyone motivated for communal exchange.

Please reach out to any of our friends

Free Taco Friday- again and again we are reminded that the most important part of this is connecting with each other. Building the community bonds which cannot be broken. Please join us for the next Friday distribution or donate! Please reach out to our GA Chapter Minister of Mutual aid @comrade_hawkeye, our chapter page, or @c3_creativecollaboration ✊🏽 by @thisiskit1311

It is okay to need help! We need to get rid of the stigma that asking and receiving help is bad.
We gave out tacos, hygiene products, and snacks last Friday. We want to do it every 2 weeks. If you want to be apart of this in anyway just DM ! by @thisiskit1311

Free Taco Friday is about connecting with our fellow human beings. It is about rebuilding bonds lost within our communities. It is about learning how to heal, how to communicate, how to appreciate life, and how to grow together. Go out into your community and give. Be present with your neighbors♥️. We invite you to join us each Friday when we come out and spend time with some of the most beautiful souls, serve good food, and help our friends collect necessities to make their lives a little easier. We accept monetary donations via our QR code. Please message us if you would like to donate items for our friends! by @thisiskit1311

Last night we set up our Bells Ferry distribution in a new spot. On the sidewalk in front of MUST Ministries. The sidewalk is public property and no we dont have paperwork.

MUST does a lot of good for the community but there are still gaps that need to be filled. We gotta learn to cut through all of the dehumanizing paperwork and work together. It shouldn't matter. Whose more official. We want to give back directly to the community, not a sterile administration building or drop off box that promises to distribute resources. We need more direct action. Get out there folks.

Everyone deserves a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th chance. Everyone deserves compassion.

We provide tacos, snacks, and essential daily resources to the unhoused in the area. Everytime we are out there we try to bring new items to help.

We talk, we learn, we share, and we begin to understand we all struggle in different ways. There's degress to sufferring and if you can remember your worst day, that pain, and the heartbreak are universal.

Donations and volunteer always welcome.

Thank you @comrade_hawkeye
And @thisiskit1311 and their fiance for joining us!
