🌟 Community Champion 🌟

A huge well done and thank you to Ryan for helping to keep his local area clean and tidy.

Each week, Ryan joins his mum, Andrea, to collect litter and help make the community a nicer place for everyone.

Ryan is especially passionate about protecting wildlife and pets from the dangers of litter, including his own dog, Shadow.

Thank you, Ryan, for showing such fantastic community spirit, kindness and care for the environment.

Your efforts are making a real difference and helping to inspire others to take pride in their neighbourhoods.

💡If Ryan’s story has inspired you to get involved in keeping your community clean and tidy, the Environmental Protection Team would love to hear from you at: environmental.protection@NWLeicestershire.gov.uk by @thisisnwleics

There’s still time to have your say on a proposed variation to the Netherfield Lane Public Space Protection Order (PSPO).

The proposed variation is to the existing PSPO, which restricts the use of motor vehicles in designated areas around Netherfield Lane, except for authorised users. The order was originally introduced in 2019 to help tackle fly-tipping and illegal off-road vehicle use and has since been extended and varied.
