It’s strange; my heart feels heavy and empty all at once by @thorxwatts

Lately I’ve been in a weird headspace where I’m struggling to find creative inspiration. I find myself asking all these questions.
“What do I want to create?”

Or

“What is the REAL purpose behind my creativity?”

“Is it a constant purpose or is it ever changing?”

And not hearing anything back…
I pick up my camera and don’t feel the same as I used to. I feel like the spark of excitement that I’ve had for almost a decade is slowly burning out. But I refuse to let it go dark because I know deep down that my creativity can reach incredible heights, I just don’t know exactly how to reach that level yet. Maybe it’s not even about reaching a level. Maybe the goal is more simpler than that.

But on the surface, I grab my camera and
walk the magical streets of NYC still. A city that ALWAYS has something to give… if you pay attention.

So I keep my head high and my eyes open, forever searching for something to feed that spark 🙂‍↕️ by @thorxwatts

Another day in the A by @thorxwatts

The milestone I’ve been waiting to cross for 16 years, has finally happened. Never thought this day would come so quickly, but hey, life moves fast. If u don’t stop to look around once in a while, you might miss it. But I feel blessed to say that I haven’t missed much. No idea what this next chapter has in store for me but I know I’m gonna make the most out of every, single, moment. Now the real fun begins 🙂‍↕️ Onward and upward y’all 🙌🏽

KNICKS IN 4!!! 💙🧡

Seeing yourself thru your own camera’s eyes is so refreshing sometimes by @thorxwatts

There is a solitude of strength that can only be discovered once you journey out alone, moving further away from all the people who doubt your magic.
And though that path is a tough one, you will prove to be greater than any obstacle that sits in your way.

Getaway once in a while by @thorxwatts

THATS A WRAP ON ‘MISSING’!!!! 🙂‍↕️🙌🏽🙏🏽

I still can’t believe I just finished shooting THE project of my college career. No words can even describe how I’m feeling right now but I promise it’s nothing but positive things lol. This project couldn’t have run any smoother thanks to my amazing team who individually deserve so much praise for their hard work. The energy, the communication, the chemistry were all in sync and I couldn’t be happier. So thank you to every single one you for all your hard work and believing in my vision 🫶🏽

And to my ridiculously talented cast. I know I told yall time and time again on set but yall were doing your thing! It was so fulfilling to see each of you really transform into your roles. Without yall, the story wouldn’t have come to life and for that, I am forever grateful 🙏🏽

And thank you to all who donated! Each and every one of your donations made the biggest impact. From renting out a whole minivan all the way to food for the cast and crew. Every dollar was used to fund this amazing film. Thank you all!!!

With that, let the credits roll:

What a trip 😌 by @thorxwatts

| knew about Brent Faiyaz all the way since his “Into” album when he was in his band/ crew, Sonder. His music moved me in a totally different way than all the other artists at the time
(2017) and still does till this day.

Thank you @brentfaiyaz & @sonder for blessing my ears for so many years🙂‍↕️🙏🏽 by @thorxwatts
