My first official commission🎉🎉🎉 from beginning to end. This painting was extra special because my dear friend Dr. Linda Edwards wanted her grandmothers handmade tatting and doilies, and her own collection of sea shells epoxied into the painting of her favorite magnolias and dogwood blooms. We also added one of her heartfelt Scriptures, Psalm 46:10. This 36 x36 gallery wrapped, acrylic, epoxy resin, fabric, and gold foil painting is in her office at home! Thank you Lord for friendships and the gift of art where memories can be stored. All proceeds go to @thouartexalted - to reach this generation to know Christ! "Be still and Know that I am God" Psalm 46:10 #thouartexalted #artandscripture by @thouartexalted
This reel is dedicated to my NUMBER ONE- JACKSONVILLE JAGUAR FAN @pajcic! I never thought I would add this music, but WHY NOT? IT's GAME DAY JAGUAR FANS! And funny enough .... both Curry and I are from DUUUVAALL! *46 x 46, acrylic with epoxy resin on a gallery wrapped frame. I've loved exploring azaleas as they are beloved to the south. The verse I chose was Jeremiah 9:23–24. This is what the Lord says, "let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of his riches, but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice, and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord. This will be added to my 2027 calendar coming soon!! 💕 #thouartexalted #artandscripture #scripturecalendar2027 by @thouartexalted

From START to FINISH (kind of long but FUN ... wait until the end!) ... this painting was a 50th Birthday present for my brother-in-law. Inspired by the flowers at his Birthday celebration, the painting is the perfect memory of all the friends and family that gathered to celebrate Seth! ❤️ I loved painting it as much as I enjoyed celebrating you two ( because Kathleen did a knock out job putting the whole weekend together! Love you both! by @thouartexalted

John John and I were baptized yesterday! ❤️ My parents baptized me as an infant proclaiming their hope that Jesus one day would be my Lord and Savior. Their prayers were answered. At the age of 17, I confessed and believed that Jesus died for me after one of my dearest friends died in a boating accident. Many questions about God, my faith, and Jesus led my mom ( who was attending BSF at the time ) to give me the Assurance letter to read. I got down on my knees in my bedroom and invited Jesus to lead my life. From the campus of SMU to making milkshakes at McDonald's with Campus Crusade for Christ, Kanakuk to going on staff with @younglife in Germany (MCYM), Graphic Design to meeting my 30 year soul mate ... four beautiful children and a ministry of 20 years @thouartexalted ... I owe EVERYTHING to the Lord. I've been feeling the nudge for three years to be baptized as a BELIEVER... but PRIDE AND FEAR were stopping me. Until yesterday morning. Sitting quietly with the Lord, I knew I could either obey or keeping putting it off. I sent a message to our group chat and said - I'm all in! John John came downstairs and said - I'm with you Mom! IMPORTANT NOTE: Curry's in trial down south and all the other kids were out of pocket ❤️ So John John and I stood in lines, got on buses ... were the LAST ONES ( typical for me 😜) to register and the only T-SHIRT left was ONE YOUTH SMALL. We took it. We shared. 💥 Yesterday didn't alter my salvation when I accepted Jesus at 17. But God knows, my step of obedience to "override" a southern faith tradition that I didn't have to but wanted to feel the water over my body - to be released from sin and arise NEW in Christ - sure felt like FREEDOM! So, at 56, today's a NEW day. God is good. I have a youth small t-shirt to prove it. ❤️ #thouartexalted #artandscripture #eleven22 #eleven22beachbaptism by @thouartexalted
I've studied God’s Word alongside these incredible women all year ... and today, we got to create ART together. ❤️ There’s something special when friendships are formed, prayers are shared, victories are celebrated, and God is glorified in it ALL! What a precious day with these women. I love our group dearly… and just like the artwork, each of these friends are beautiful and wonderfully made. ❤️ #thouartexalted #artandscripture #taeontalbot @thouartexalted by @thouartexalted
Live auction ALERT! ❤️ I had the privilege of painting with Lauren from @hadassahshope this week. Her story is one of redemption—completely out of the club, trusting Jesus, growing in her faith, and flourishing. She opened her new facial spa (so proud of her 👏), and I’m pretty sure I’ll be in her chair soon… But this time, it was her turn. 🎨 This piece is a 26 x 26 gallery-wrapped canvas layered with acrylic, gold foil, resin, epoxy, fabric, love and HOPE created as a reminder of truth: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; ...." Psalm 139:13-14 ❤️❤️❤️ For information on how to bid for this painting - please contact me and I'll send you more information. #thouartexalted #tae #paintingfornonprofits by @thouartexalted
Thank you @rachelfaulknerbrown for inviting me to the @neveralonewidows Conference in Atlanta to lead an art breakout. Your joy is infectious as you SHINE your light SO BRIGHTLY. Not one woman felt unseen as your kindness and testimony were a balm for the brokenhearted. The power of the Holy Spirit was present and most definitely made room for gleaning, standing, and planting. ❤️ Looking forward to host an event at @taeontalbot for @neveralonejacksonville !! by @thouartexalted
