Nature has a way of bringing us back to ourselves. 🌿

Sometimes healing doesn’t always look like sitting in a therapy room and talking through everything.

Sometimes it looks like stepping outside.

Feeling the grass beneath your feet.
Listening to birdsong.
Watching the trees move in the wind.
Taking a slow walk without needing to get anywhere.

Nature can give our minds space to breathe when everything feels overwhelming. It can help us slow down, become present, regulate our nervous system and reconnect with the world around us.

Therapy can help us understand what is happening within us.
Nature can give us a safe space to simply be with it.

You don’t always have to find the right words.

Sometimes, you just need to pause, breathe and reconnect. 🌱

Some people don’t just walk into your life — they become a place you can rest.

a best friend is a kind of therapy you don’t have to book, explain, or pay for. They can sometimes understand the things you don’t know how to say, sit with you in the chaos, and remind you who you are when you forget.

It’s in the “I’m here” texts, the laughter that feels like healing, the honesty that’s gentle, and the presence that never feels heavy.

Not all therapy looks like a room and a conversation —sometimes, it looks like a person who makes you feel safe enough to heal. 🤍 by @threadsoftruththerapy

Just me, myself and I.

A day to yourself is something worth acknowledging. Being in your own presence, doing things for you, moving at your own pace… it’s a little therapy session in itself.

There’s something really empowering about enjoying your own company sometimes and being in that moment.

Take yourself for coffee. Go for the walk. Sit in the quiet.
You deserve time with you too. 🤍 by @threadsoftruththerapy

No filter. No makeup. No mask.

I used to hide behind edits and face-changing apps because I didn’t feel “enough” as I was.

But real self-love isn’t built through perfection —
it’s built through acceptance.

Everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin.

What would it feel like to let go of the filters —
not just on our photos, but on how we see ourselves?

Reality vs Edited. Extreme vs Subtle.

When we internalise edited images as ‘normal,’
we start to feel abnormal in our own skin.

Social media often shows the highlight reel, not the whole story.
Real bodies, real skin, real humans exist beyond the filter. 🌸

P.S I finally made a video where my camera didn't fall down. Result 👏🏻 6pm tonightt. by @threadsoftruththerapy

Sooo my first video of 2026 was going to be how unrealistic a lot of social media can be.

Didn’t put any make up on or anything.

However, this video alone was enough to prove just how unrealistic it is.

I’ll try again later 🫡

Oh it’s been a hot minute. 👋🏼 2026

New year, same goal:

Consistency over perfection,
Kindness over criticism,

Why working out with friends is good for your mind 🧠💪

It’s not just about getting stronger — it’s therapy in motion.
When you move with friends, your brain releases feel-good hormones that calm stress and boost mood. You’re connecting, laughing, and co-regulating without even realising it.

It’s accountability, emotional release, and confidence-building all in one.
Because when exercise feels like joy, not punishment — that’s when it truly heals you. 🤍 by @threadsoftruththerapy

It’s strange getting older and realising that being “behind” doesn’t actually exist.

You’re right on time — even if it doesn’t feel like it. 🌠 by @threadsoftruththerapy

October timeee 🎃👻

As the days grow shorter and the nights a little darker, it’s natural to feel dips in energy or even moments of isolation compared to the lightness of summer.

✨ But this season also offers us something precious ✨

It invites us to slow down, wrap ourselves in cosy moments, and lean into reflection. This can be a time to think, reset, figure things out—or simply allow yourself to rest without guilt.

Remember to care for one another, but also to care for yourself.

🌿 Check in with loved ones.
🌿 Set boundaries where you need them.
🌿 Honour your own needs as you move through these colder months.

There is always light on the other side—and sometimes, the darker seasons teach us how to recognise it even more deeply 🫶🏼🍁 by @threadsoftruththerapy

Recharging for your well-being ✨

Recharging doesn’t always have to look like lying in bed or switching off from the world (although sometimes, that’s exactly what we need).

Sometimes it looks like:
🌿 Exploring nature with a friend
☕ Sharing tea and laughter
💬 Letting conversation flow with no pressure
📸 Creating moments that remind you of joy

Well-being is built from the small, intentional pauses we give ourselves—the ones that refill us when life feels draining.

Ask yourself: What does recharging look like for me today?

It doesn’t have to match anyone else’s version. The important thing is that it restores you. 💚 by @threadsoftruththerapy
